A year ago today it was my daughter Tory’s funeral. It felt unreal then & it still does. I chose this outfit for her to wear, gave her a blanket & slipper socks to keep her warm, a teddy, photo & letter to take with her. Such an emotional day. She’s loved & missed so much #grief

BREAKING: Home Depot’s billionaire Founder drops bombshell, reveals that he will throw his money behind indicted 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump — even if he’s found guilty and convicted of insurrection and trying to steal Biden’s win.
But it gets WORSE…
The Founder, Bernie Marcus shamelessly declared today that the Justice Department’s prosecution of Trump, although it has already produced mountains of incriminating evidence, is “all trumped up” — and that “of course” he will be “supporting” Trump in 2024 — despite the 91 felony charges against him.
Worse still, Marcus even published a fawning pro-Trump op-ed in which he urged voters to “not let Trump’s brash style be the reason we walk away from his otherwise excellent stewardship of the United States during his first term in office.”
The Home Depot Founder’s delusional remarks speak volumes — because there was nothing “excellent” about Trump’s presidential term — which culminated in a deadly insurrection after a ghoulishly mismanaged Covid outbreak that led to millions of Americans losing their lives and the alienation of America’s top allies around the globe.
Sorry, Bernie Marcus, but just because Trump showered billionaires like you with tax cuts doesn’t mean that he was a good president — and it certainly doesn’t mean that Trump deserves to become president again in 2024.
Please retweet and ❤️ to expose Home Depot’s dangerous far-right Founder — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. For most of my life. On Sunday morning I have turned on Meet The Press. It has been a constant in my life. Ive not always agreed with the host or the guest but I still watched. This morning. I picked up the TV remote to turn on Meet The Press. But for the first time in my life I did not turn on Meet The Press. I couldn’t do it. After watching Kristen Welker fawn all over Donald Trump and any other Republican that comes on the show. After last weeks tepid interview with RNC Chairman Rona McDaniel where McDaniel refused to even address Trump’s plan to round up his opponents and build concentration camps with no pushback from Welker. And then Welker gushingly telling McDaniel “It is an honor” to have her on Meet the Press. I cannot watch another minute of MTP as long as Welker is the host. I don’t expect a host to be supportive of all Democrats that appear on the program. I expect them to ask hard questions and follow ups. To both Democrats and Republicans. But Kristen Welker is determined to help Donald Trump get back into the White House. She is not doing her job as a member of the press. And I for one will no longer waste an hour of my life watching Kristen Welker and her Republicans love fest on Meet The Press.

Robert De Niro’s full statement on Trump. Please read and let me know your thoughts:
I’ve spent a lot of time studying bad men. I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty. Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly.
I see an evil one.
Over the years, I’ve met gangsters here and there. This guy tries to be one, but he can’t quite pull it off. There’s such a thing as “honor among thieves.” Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong. Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story — but — they have a moral code, however warped.
Donald Trump does not. He’s a wannabe tough guy with no morals or ethics. No sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them.
We New Yorkers got to know him over the years that he poisoned the atmosphere and littered our city with monuments to his ego. We knew first hand that this was someone who should never be considered for leadership. We tried to warn the world in 2016.
The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination. Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world. We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags.
The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior. That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse.
Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously.
So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America:
This is our last chance.
Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator.
And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided.
So what do we do about it? I know I’m preaching to the choir here. What we’re doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls. We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House. They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice. Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them.
Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect. Let’s not talk about “democracy.” “Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it. Let’s talk about right and wrong. Let’s talk about humanity. Let’s talk about kindness. Security for our world. Safety for our families. Decency. Let’s welcome them back. We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this “Stop Trump Summit.”

Discipline. Even as a Quadriplegic on life support with a future as shady as an used car salesman you meet in the parking lot of a Walmart at 11P.M., I maintain a level of discipline in my day to day life. Every day I wake up at 3:30 A.M. and do some form of meditation. Around 7A.M.I play devotional songs and give morning offerings to God. After getting cleaned up, I dedicate some time for learning, whether it be reading, listening to podcasts or taking a Sanskrit lesson. I usually enjoy some free time before concluding my day with chanting and giving evening offerings to God. I've also given up coffee and limit myself to half cup tea per day. Alcohol is off limits now too. I believe this regiment has at the bare minimum kept me sane if not made me stronger mentally and physically. Discipline saves you from staying stuck in a victim mindset. Everyone would have their own version of how implementing discipline would look like in their lives but I am certain it would ultimately shape your life for the better.. Even if you are lying motionless in a bed.

Well, I've made another birthday and to make it this far was never on the cards. At best, I was given 2 months. But thanks to immunotherapy and a lot of daily graft, exercise and positive living I'm here to celebrate 3 years later. I don't take this day for granted but I am going to enjoy it!
