If I were building an AI-first device, I’d look no further than the iPod nano 7th gen. This thing was perfect. Thin as a headphone jack. Distraction-free screen. Microphone and Bluetooth. Years ahead of its time.

@skirano I've given my daughter my old one. She uses it to play her music (that's another mission to load 😔), she loves it, and it keeps her phone-free!

A truly wonderful piece of brand marketing! 🙌 One gets the sense that this TVC marks a clear turning point after the years of hard work since Sean Summers returned as Pick n Pay CEO. Fixing PnP was never going to be easy, but the brand is ALIVE!

@atmoio This is a great post and really on point. We've gone from low-level engineers to high-level orchestrators. We're the Claude Codes of our own Claude's. It's a massive challenge to think about this and the uncertainty it brings! Good on you for articulating it.

I never fully understood the build process because I've always coded without frameworks I always felt the faster I could see the code I just typed in action, the faster my feedback loop and the faster I can ship and improve my products Waiting even a minute to build would destroy that feedback loop and make me way slower I can do lots of mini edits and see each instead of batching them and then building!
@

My simple PHP JS stack without any build works incredibly well with AI because it's so simply and basic

@bennyqp @steipete Ok, I can see those examples working. I think some apps that aren't just nice frontends will endure, though I can't think of any offhand 😂

@tucj7 @steipete Yeah, like apps that handle/organize your mails (Superhuman, etc.) or create content for example. But as I said, I'm only two days in, and I think the better question might even be: which apps cannot be replaced?

Been testing OpenClaw for 2 days. This is going to be an earthquake. I realized: Most B2C SaaS apps are about to become irrelevant. @steipete said it in the Y Combinator interview. After using OpenClaw I'm 100% convinced he's right.

@christophgroene @JaneyBob695 @Jonathan_Witt Unfortunately you're clueless. There are many lessons from the Holocaust for everyone, and going to a museum, allows people to understand what ignoring the rising tide of antisemitism can do. Let me know once you've visited Auschwitz... I'll wait.

@JaneyBob695 @Jonathan_Witt Why? Why must ANY child in South Africa go to any museum about a religious war that is 10.000km away and has nothing to do with us? We will not let our children become pawns to people who have been killing each other in a religious war for 6000 years.

Agents will become a common way people shop. So today we are releasing 3 tools to make adding commerce to those agents trivial: - Checkout Kit: embed commerce widgets and checkout(!) directly into your agent and chat. This is already being used by Microsoft’s @Copilot. - Shopify Catalog: low latency global product search across millions of merchants - Universal Cart: shop from any store, anywhere, in one cart With these, you can build seamless embedded commerce experiences quickly, starting with all the best products by the best merchants in the world instead of having to sign them all up individually. No need to build a complex new checkout, or dealing with regulatory marketplace rules. Commerce just plugs in and feels seamless in conversations. We believe commerce should be everywhere people are, so we’re making that as easy as possible for the AI age.

@News24 Why is terrorism in quotes @AdriaanBasson ? You're trying your best to avoid any sign of empathy to Jews. It is terrorism and was stated to be terrorism by the police and government, but you and your news team know better, right?

Australia’s leaders agreed on Monday to toughen gun laws after attackers killed 15 people at a Jewish festival on Bondi Beach, the worst mass shooting in decades decried as antisemitic “terrorism” by authorities. brnw.ch/21wYnfI

@News24 .@AdriaanBasson proof of clear antisemitism at your publication. Not once in your headline, or above the fold, do you mention that Jews were targeted. Of course, it's not unexpected these days.

My 40th birthday party that my wife threw was pretty crazy. @werner came on his crazy motorcycle. He had just learned he got a job at Amazon. We billed it as the cheesiest birthday party ever. Had everyone bring some cheese. Great life hack. Everyone also brought a great bottle of wine to pair with the cheese. Been watching him ever since become a rock star. What a 20-year job!
