Louisiana just canceled our elections. I am speechless. Early voting was 2 days away. All of this is happening because our governor, Jeff Landry, is still angry that the ENTIRE STATE rose up against him and voted against him trying to REWRITE our constitution in weeks last year

Louisiana Republican Governor Jeff Landry has suspended the beginning of primary elections this weekend as he looks to pass a completely red gerrymandered map before midterms.
This comes just a day after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act, which could eliminate 10 Black-majority districts in the South.

THESE MAPS ARE FUCKING INSANE!!! These maps will dilute representation from Southeast and Central Florida. If like me you live in Southeast Florida, the most populated area in the state, and are not paying attention to the efforts of @GovRonDeSantis to dilute your representation in Congress than you should be. Chances are that you will now share a congressman with someone from the west coast of Florida. In between is a bunch of swamp land known as the Everglades. This will mean that we may lose Representatives like Representative @RepMoskowitz, @DWStweets, and others. We will also lose representation in Tallahassee. Not because you wanted someone else, but because Ron DeSantis wanted someone else. He is giving the middle finger to all of South Florida and Central Florida on his way out the door. Please pay attention and make clear your determination not to let this happen.
