"MISSION JOY: IMPOSSIBLE NO MORE" A high-stakes race against time to bring playgrounds to the children of Svalyava and Chynadyiovo Orphanages. Mission Briefing: "Agent Horia, your mission—should you choose to accept it—does not involve stealing secret files or disarming bombs. Instead, you are tasked with delivering something far more powerful: joy. Your objective: to install two outdoor playgrounds in the orphanages of Svalyava and Chynadyiovo by June 1st. The clock is ticking. The children are waiting. Failure is not an option." Act I: The Stakes (Desperation and Hope) Svalyava and Chynadyiovo: Two orphanages where children dream of simple pleasures—like swinging, sliding, and laughing in the sun. The Reality: Empty courtyards, worn-out equipment, and a childhood stolen by circumstance. The Challenge: How do you turn barren spaces into kingdoms of adventure in just a few weeks? The Gadgets (Tools of the Mission): The Playgrounds: Not just metal and plastic, but tools of transformation—weapons against boredom and sadness. The Logistics: Transport, assembly, and the element of surprise—all synchronized like a Swiss watch. The Team: Volunteers, donors, and partners—unsung heroes making the impossible, possible. Act II: Execution (Tension and Triumph) Day Zero: The equipment leaves the warehouse. "72 hours until deadline." Obstacles: Rough roads, customs delays, and a race against time. Key Moments: Arrival in Svalyava: "First playground assembled. The children watch with wide eyes, unaware of the surprise awaiting them." Chynadyiovo: "Second playground complete. Time: 14:59. Mission almost accomplished." Act III: The Impact (The Reward) June 1st, 15:00: The grand reveal. Screams of joy, laughter, and children racing to claim their new playground. Reactions :A 7-year-old boy in Svalyava: "Now we have a park, just like in the stories!" A caretaker in Chynadyiovo: "We don’t know how to thank you. You’ve brought light here." Mission Accomplished: "Agent Baciu, you did it. You turned two empty courtyards into worlds of joy." Epilogue (The Final Message): In this world, some missions don’t require explosions or high-speed chases to be heroic. Sometimes, all it takes is a playground, a group of children, and an open heart. Mission Joy is complete. But the adventure has only just begun... If you want to become an 'agent' in a mission like this, reach out. Your next assignment: - donate at paypal.me/ztele85 or buymeacoffee.com/ztele85 or 4fund.com/szeckp - get your gear ready and spread the word Misson key points: - 11,000 eur to be raised - Deadline: May 28th - Mission locations: Svalyava, Chynadyiovo, Vil'shany, Turya Remetiv (all in Zakarpattia Oblast, Western Ukraine)

“They said this would be an operation, so I thought it would be a short conflict. That was my mistake.” There's a sense of fatigue in Russia as the war on Ukraine drags on & drones target southern Russia. Next month’s Victory Day parade on Red Square is being scaled back.

This is what Russian occupation looks like. Filtration camps, torture, rapes, killings, deportations, denial of basic services unless one accepts Russian citizenship. Ukraine cannot and will not abandon its people under Russian occupation.

Did you know that Khartiia asked us for spare tires for the vehicles that we're fundraising for? Probably because they have a lot of experience flattening tires of russian equivalents - like here in September 2022 Velyki Prokhody, Kharkiv 50.215249, 36.318062 @GeoConfirmed Help us support them: paypal.com/donate?campaig…
Andrew Perpetua@AndrewPerpetua

We are fundraising to provide Khartiia with critical transport vans. Logistics keeps the front moving. Please support the mission below. You can donate here: paypal.com/donate?campaig… Vehicles are a commodity. We've tracked vehicle losses in Ukraine for years, including light-skinned vehicles such as vans and pickup trucks. Those who follow us know and understand the attrition rates. The scale is immense. In the first 22 days of April alone, we tracked 931 losses in this category (cars, pickups, SUVs, and vans, combined). As our followers know, video analysis captures only a fraction of the total losses. While some of these vehicles are ultimately recovered and repaired, many are abandoned, stripped for parts, or destroyed. This is the reality of war. Support for Ukraine means funding and supplying these vehicles. Why Vans? Cargo In → Casualties Out Inbound: Vans protect sensitive cargo, such as electronics, from dust, mud, and rain. Outbound: Once goods are delivered, these vehicles provide a protected, enclosed space to evacuate the wounded for treatment. The Goal: $100,000 We are raising funds to purchase, repair, and prep vans for Khartiia and another secret special unit. The budget covers the purchase price, mud tires, spare parts, and technical preparation required for front-line deployment. This is the first fundraiser spearheaded by my data collection and mapping project, Ukraine Daily Update, in association with volunteers at Tochnyi. To ensure total transparency and professional logistics, we are partnering with Liberty Ukraine, which will handle the backend and 501(c)(3) status. We know our audience understands the scale of this need. We hope those who are able will donate to help us get these vans to the front as promptly as possible. The fundraiser page is here, with alternative ways to donate: libertyukraine.org/from-screens-t…

Local residents in Perm, surrounded by fires from Ukrainian strikes on oil infrastructure, are assessing the aftermath of today’s attack on the AVT-4 unit at the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery.
Exilenova+@Exilenova_plus

One of the atmospheric-vacuum distillation units at the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery is on fire. Specifically, it is Unit AVT-4. Atmospheric-vacuum distillation is the main process in primary oil refining at a refinery, where crude oil is separated into fuel fractions.

@l3niwiec_ @Moni_Kabelucci @DevanaUkraine Cine asedia Constantinopolul?

Ukrainian varenyky or Polish pierogy? I was attacked on Twitter by Poles claiming that vareniki are a Polish dish, Russians insisting they are Russian because Poland calls them "pierogi ruskie," and even some fake "Ukrainian" accounts. It was quite a shock, so I decided to cross-reference the facts with independent sources, including Polish ones. Here’s what I found: In Poland, "Pierogi ruskie" actually came from Lviv during the era of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (specifically after the expansion into Red Ruthenia in the 14th century). Even Polish historians confirm this. There is a famous legend about Saint Hyacinth (Święty Jacek Odrowąż, 1185–1257), who is said to have brought the recipe from Kyiv to Kraków in the 13th century. There’s even a saying: "Święty Jacku z pierogami!" (Saint Hyacinth with his pierogi!). In Ukraine, the literary name is varenyky, but in Western Ukraine, particularly Halychyna, they have always been called pyrohy. I’ve done my homework, so feel free to check the sources yourself if you don't believe me :) Additional context: Rus is Ukraine. The term "Ruski" referred to Ukrainian territories (like the Ruthenian Voivodeship centered in Lviv, established in 1434). This identity remained distinct long after the Mongol Siege of Kyiv (1240) and long before Muscovy rebranded itself as "Russia" under Peter I in 1721. Using the term "ruskie" to claim the dish is "Russian" is a basic historical error. Ruskie always meant belonging to Ukrainians. And it was never a nationality, only something that belongs to us as our property. Nationality in Slavic languages is denoted by a noun: Rusych, Rusyn, Ruthenian. Ruskiy - if it's about a person, then it's about our slave ;) So, by trying to justify the right to occupy Ukraine by stealing history and its name, the Russians humiliated themselves.

After Japan’s defeat, the US interviewed a Japanese writer. When asked whether he knew Japan was losing, the writer said no but added that he did notice that Japan’s glorious victories were occurring ever closer to the Home Islands. Ukraine is defeated but Russian ports on the Baltic burn and the Russian army cannot advance.

😍🔥 Instead of a bedtime story, a spectacular fire: the Perm oil transshipment station continues to burn massively after a drone attack. According to media reports, at least 3 tanks are burning, each of which holds up to 50 thousand m³ of oil. Moreover, total losses could reach approximately $112 million. Channel 24
