@ssencommunity good job on getting people reconnected after damage due to #StormBert I had subscribed to a power cut affecting me, but had the issue again where no text updates after initial + 1. Had to keep checking power track, so looks like that is still not fixed.

A Bank Impersonation scammer has asked me to post £2,750 to an address in Ilford, Essex. If no money gets posted, no crime is committed, so the police are not interested. Realistically, what is the best thing to do with this money mule address?

Spent 90 mins with a new DAB station. Liners preach a local USP, "we're putting unity into community" yuk. From 1pm- all I heard was 80s/90s/00 music, oddly a rock'n'roll track hourly, national news and SYNDICATED generic (!) weather. TOH says their news is sponsored!! Illegal.

@MartinSLewis @EastMidRailway since #Covid hardly ever use the train because of these reasons. If it going to turn up? Is it going to have space? Clearly no spare seats for reservations so why are they taking peoples money for them? Car doesn't have these issues...

Dear @EastMidRailway this train (Ldn - Sheffield) is disgraceful. Every seat taken, every standing space taken, scores sitting in mid train corridors so I guess 500 people on it and ONLY ONE WORKING TOILET at one end, so people must crawl over each 100s to reach it. It's degrading, like something from the 19th century. PS and as I walked to the loo, apologising profusely, a number of people asked me to say something publicly about it. One of the reasons for this tweet.

@AWSSupport @AmazonHelp @amazon @JeffBezos AWS were not much help, but the most useful advice I had, (not from aws) was to open another AWS account (don't use your previous email address) and then open a support case to recover your existing / main one. Someone on the phone within 20mins who understood the issue & helped.

@ssencommunity Thanks for that, but it doesn't give much more than 'somethings broke, we're trying to fix it' what caused the cable fault, as it's overhead I guess it could be a tree fell on it? Car crashed into the pole? Anything would be good. 4pm came and went power still off - new eta?

@tuscan_warrior We have had a cable fault on the main network, only a handful of customers remain off supply whilst we wait for the generator to arrive

@Bournemouthecho I wonder if @ssecommunity had to disconnect Christchurch, Hurn in order to carry out repairs to Throop Holdenhurst etc. Plus power track previously says over 2k customers affected and still says over 1k affected

@ssencommunity Thanks Lewis, that gives me more info as it means the restoration time is a guess rather than a target, as it's impossible for you to know the fix time until you have found the fault and started fixing it! hope this helps someone.

@ssencommunity thanks Lewis, what has caused the damage? Presumably the power loss has occured due to damage or fault, any idea what that actually is?

@tuscan_warrior I'm sorry about the interruptions you've been experiencing recently. This was due to something called an auto-reclose. The power goes off to protect the network. This is all for safety reasons and to prevent further damage to our network.
