@jonmikesav8 I generally find Carragher's analysis to be very good. He can be really insightful.
But when Liverpool or United come into it he goes off the rails.

@mannyfidel @richardpbacon I don't even follow the logic of that excuse. If it was doctored it was doctored before being posted, and they still posted it.

oh my god. was trump told to tell the press that the image was "doctored," but misunderstood and told everyone that he was depicted as a "doctor"?

Karoline Leavitt: “President Trump’s Truth Social post depicting him as Jesus was a doctored image.”

@Fightincowboy I'm gutted to not play this but I have a base PS5 and from all the info it seems every mode is too compromised. Almost finished Nioh 3 and was looking forward to this

Definitely qualifies as a contender. The last time I saw so many people all talking and sharing experiences about a game this much was with Elden Ring. Those kinds of experiences are few and far between.

Do you think Crimson Desert will be a Game of the Year contender this year?

15 years is a pretty long time for a game franchise - and this one helped define and popularize the RTS genre in a major way.
Command & Conquer entered the market in 1995, the last sequel (of the original series) was Command & Conquer 4 in 2010.
Which of these 8 games was your favorite?
I assume the general consensus is Red Alert 2, but I will go with Generals. That's the one I played the most.
Command & Conquer (1995)
Command & Conquer: Red Alert (1996)
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (1999)
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (2000)
Command & Conquer: Generals (2003)
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (2007) Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (2008)
Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight (2010)

Yep! This would sound strange to anyone who got into computing from the year 2000 onward, but we really did spend hours and hours typing in BASIC code from computer magazines. In my case, it was on my Commodore 64.
Who else did this?

@wesleytypes Everything will look the same. Overdone and ugly, with the originality and art sucked out of it.
Like Mar-a-lago face for games.

I'm gonna be real with you guys, I just plug my console into my TV and play. Sometimes I mess with the in-game settings. Maybe.
Ray tracing, HDR, FSP, frame gen, 4K, etc. is basically gibberish to me.
It's a peaceful life.
However, when I see things like DLSS 5, I fear for the future integrity of the medium. You don't need to be an expert to know it looks wrong, like painted over generic AI generated trash. It looks exactly like that.
Maybe it gets better the further along development goes, but as it stands right now, DLSS 5 is embarrassing to look at.
