Story time…
It was October 2021 and @jamilbtc just launched the @stxnft platform.
I got involved after I launched an early NFT project on STXNFT (now Gamma). And @sarah_satoshi had been around in the space since the early days of BNS (still jealous you have Sarah.btc and I can’t find the owner of Nick.btc).
Sarah and I banded together with Jamil to assist him with marketing, ops, creator launchpad, and a bunch of other things that I can barely remember apart from moving a million miles a minute and having so much fun in the process.
I still remember a call I had with Sarah where we were both contemplating joining the fledgling STXNFT full-time. I recall being at my parents’ house and having stepped out into their garage for over an hour as we chatted about tons of random things about STXNFT, life, work, Bitcoin, and the like.
A few of weeks later, we ultimately took opposite paths. Sarah was just finishing her college degree (fun fact: she made her diploma into a Boom NFT on Stacks) and she wanted to get some traditional corporate experience under her belt. I was several years ahead, and I felt like I was ready to take the plunge and try something new and challenging.
Jamil agreed to have me as his co-founder (still grateful to this day to work with him), and we got to scaling the business and team further, quite early on with @txp0st and of course on to the rest of the incredible Gamma team we have today — almost exclusively hired directly from the community and user base.
Even though Sarah had other full-time gigs and was only able to work 5-10 hours a week with us, she never fully disconnected from Gamma (yay for us).
I still remember when Sarah said to me and Jamil that she wanted to start our newsletter — The Weekly Stack (still obsessed with that name) — Jamil said “that’s fine, but you have to commit to doing it every week, consistently… especially if we’re going to call it that.”
Sarah has since done over 75 issues, like clockwork, and has grown a loyal following who look forward to its release each week.
Fast forwarding over some important stuff and some shenanigans (e.g. the custom Nick emoji in Slack that she reacts with when something has “Nick energy”) brings us to today.
Sarah recently had a sudden change in her working situation, and she became available to work with us in a greater capacity for the first time in over a year.
We quickly took the chance we wanted to take from the very beginning, and invited her to join us full-time.
I’m so honored to share that she’s officially joining the Gamma Team full-time, heading up brand partnerships, ensuring creators have successful project launches and that apps using our infra services have smooth integrations.
We knew this day would come eventually, but the trio is back together at last.
Welcome home Sarah 🫡🧡

Yesterday, 2500 mysterious boxes appeared in the metaverse without any details on their origin or purpose
The white boxes glitch the world's physics engine; surrounded by falling snow and levitating in the air despite their immense mass
Everything we know so far:

I've used link pre-fetching in static sites built with tools like 11ty. Amazing.
But I've never really done it in a React app until using @remix_run. Setting the cache control headers in Remix loaders is the big unlock.
Wow... it's nice. And it's all browser tech in the end 💚
