Based on data from Gun Violence Archive and The Violence Project, from 2019 to early 2026, there have been 3 known school shootings with trans or non-binary perpetrators (Covenant 2023, Perry 2024, Abundant Life 2024) out of over 2,000 total incidents, or <0.2%. For mass school shootings (4+ victims shot), it's 3 out of ~20, or about 15%. Trans individuals remain underrepresented compared to their ~1% population share.
