#StanDOM Culture & Community team + Neighborhood X Labs brought 19 SFUSD students to Stanford. Students heard real journeys: asking "WHY," navigating setbacks, making pivots & finding passion. "Access creates confidence. Confidence creates leaders." - Tiffany Carter, NXL

crypto doesn’t have a marketing problem. it has a storytelling problem. if you’re building in consumer crypto, ai, neobanks, or stablecoins, i want to help tell that story.

"Peter Thiel says, you have to be contrarian but right to be an entrepreneur. So, you have to be comfortable looking stupid for a long time. When I was calling those banks and saying, "Hey, we're a crypto company. We want to do this," they would hang up on me. Or I'd go pitch the 30th venture investor and get a no. Or the thousandth employee we tried to hire or whatever. We're willing to be misunderstood for a long time. And then you slowly start to have these breakthroughs. If you look at Uber, they were fighting for a decade to just be like, yeah, it's actually better and safer than a cab — and the entrenched interests were fighting them. Or Airbnb with the hotels. Self-driving cars. Everything that's truly innovative and breakthrough is going to upset an entrenched incumbent, eventually intersect with the government, and just piss off some segment of the population who are like... "How dare you question the status quo." — @brian_armstrong

This isn’t a writing app. It’s not a publishing platform. It’s something we’ve never had before. It’s the first tool built for the complete author. We’re just getting started.

Writers have always carried two fears: ‘Will I finish it?’ and ‘Will anyone read it?’ Knovel kills both. At the same time. Your manuscript. Your readers. Your ownership. All in one place with a search bar that lets readers find you by title, genre, or your name.

For too long, authors have been split in two. There’s the writer and then there’s the publisher. Two different worlds, two different tools, two different gatekeepers standing between a story and its reader. We asked ourselves, what if that wall didn’t exist?
