Zepto riders are protesting and rightly so.
₹15 per delivery?
That means even after 7 hours of work, they barely make ₹450–500.
A company raising millions in funding, spending heavily on ads and expansion, but underpaying the very people keeping it running.
If the foundation is this weak, the structure won’t stand for long.
Fair pay isn’t charity, it’s sustainability.

I had booked for my LPG refill & paid on Friday. My distributor informed me it’ll be delivered in 5 days, which was today.
I called him 20 times today and he just picked once and told me “ab 5 din aur wait karo” and disconnected.
I immediately lodged a complaint on Bharat Petroleum portal two hours back. The guy just called me himself and informed me that “kal tak delivery ho jayega.”
Laato ke bhoot baaton se nahi mante.
I was in no hurry for the refill but the distributor can at least communicate properly and be respectful during such times.

A motorist traveling near Lonavala successfully foiled a potential scam after being intercepted by two unidentified men on a motorcycle. The suspects aggressively signaled the driver to stop, falsely claiming the vehicle had an outstanding bank loan of ₹10 lakh. Sensing a trap, the driver remained inside his car with the windows rolled up and contacted the police, causing the suspects to flee. Authorities are now warning car owners to stay alert against such high-pressure intimidation tactics on isolated road stretches.
