Crores & crores of Tax Payers money spent to clean this mess before the advent of #MumbaiRains by @mybmc literally goes down the Drain only to be repeated next year. BTW any guesses who is Responsible for the trash in the drains?

Tha @MMRDAOfficial has turned this metro station construction site into a terrible place, especially for pedestrians. One lane for vehicles and no space at all for pedestrians to walk. The contractor has turned this into a dumping site. There are no air pollution mitigation guidelines followed issued by @mybmc is followed. No cleanliness, many open storm water drains, not enough barricades and totally unsafe. The only 2 big barricades seen in the video today were placed today because it seemed like someone from MMRDA was visiting. This is Metro Line 6, near Mourya Grand and landmark building in Andheri West.

And one mantri was bragging that CONcrete roads are maintenance free😂

I would love to see concrete road lovers on Twitter defend this shit. Whenever I say "India makes horrible concrete roads", they point to a handful of good examples from some areas in defence. They ignore the fact that there exists 1000s of kms of concrete roads in India that have absolutely horrible surfaces. Even the new ones are shit. What's worse? They cost 3x more to build compared to smoother asphalt. The only point they can hold on to is "but but they last longer" Arey bhaad me gaya last longer. What's even the point of a longer lasting road that offers bone jarring rides? An its not as if they deliver on that promise either. I have seen "long lasting" PQC roads develop potholes in less than a year. Come back to me when we start making excellent quality PQC roads across the country. I will prefer asphalt/bitumen until then. Also, thank you for your attention to this matter.
