More range argument just got destroyed. The only argument for more range has been for road trips. If you’ve taken road trips with a Tesla and took for granted the trip planner, you’ll realize that more range only adds some benefit to the first 100% charge getting to your first stop. Afterwards, you will only charge enough to get to the next stop. Charging any more than this wastes alot of travel time as it takes longer to charge the upper battery capacity $TSLA

That's 6-8 years of ownership; the average American keeps their car for 6.5 years. Few people will last that long. The official plan for HW3 (as of @Tesla's Q1 Call): – V14 Lite is expected in June, which will include all major features currently available in V14.X. – A hardware upgrade from HW3 to AI4 (Autopilot Computer and Cameras) will be available. – And better trade-in offers.

NEWS: Elon Musk has confirmed that HW3 can't achieve Unsupervised FSD. "For customers that have bought FSD on HW3, we are offing a discounted trade-in for cars that have AI4, and also offering the ability to upgrade the cars computer and cameras. This includes unsupervised Tesla-driven robotaxis. • Waymo: 58 incidents • Zoox: 3 incidents • Tesla: 0 incidents Tesla has had 15 incidents in 10 months with an estimated 1,000,000+ miles driven on FSD. These miles include fully unsupervised driving as well. Many people claimed that Tesla had so many incidents with safety monitors and that it would therefore be worse when unsupervised. It turns out that wasn’t the case at all, as incidents are dropping as Tesla does more testing and trains better models.
