@JCChristopher Dude the FUD tsunami is fukin real right now... Tesla and Elon can't address the CT crash fake news soon enough with some concrete data. It's obvious to anyone who uses FSD that there is no way that crash happened as a result of using anything past V11......

I went to the exact same location of the Cybertruck accident shown in the Fox News video. This is the US-69/59 Eastex Freeway northbound HOV lane at the Y-split near the Eastex Park & Ride exit (approaching from downtown Houston toward Humble). In the Fox News video, the vehicle failed to follow the right curve, going straight into the barrier. Well, I tested it twice today with Tesla FSD engaged the entire time with zero human intervention. And unless you think I am a hologram speaking to you from another dimension now, it worked out really well. Here is the video of me taking the exact same curve twice, with Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5.

Seeing the amount of FUD on Tesla and FSD in the last week tells me that unsupervised, or some other major milestone is probably close. The blatant and obvious lies by the media are the best indicator for upcoming successes.

@DarthNoll @wholemars Having 20k miles on V14 and many more on previous versions I can tell you have no clue what you're talking about. Like the other comment said, short the stock.

@wholemars THIS has to be it.... The blatant lies posted in the last week are off the charts. And I mean outlets apparently don't even care about potential lawsuits. Crazy

@DevonGuerrero You understand that people regularly press the accelerator while in FSD right? Not saying it's the right move, but you have no way of knowing if she's the reason for the speed until you have the telemetry. I have 20k miles on V14 and FSD does not do this.

Her name was Leonie, she was a 13-year-old Austrian girl. While she was out with friends, 3 Afghan immigrants secretly put 11 ecstasy pills in her drink. Stunned and unable to defend herself, she was taken to the house of one of the three. The ecstasy dose was way too high, the girl started overdosing but the 3 immigrants, completely indifferent to her suffering, began to undress her and took turns raping her, putting their hands around her neck, strangling her. All of it recorded by themselves on a mobile phone video. That’s how Leonie died, naked, in atrocious suffering, while the beasts raped her. The autopsy would later confirm the cause of death was triple overdose and asphyxiation. When they were done, they wrapped the body in a carpet and dumped it roadside, under a tree. The girl’s body was found the next morning by some passers-by, wearing only her underwear and with clear strangulation marks on her neck. One of the perpetrators fled to the United Kingdom, but was quickly tracked down in a hotel and extradited, the 3 Afghans were sentenced: - Zubaidullah R. life imprisonment; - Ali H. 19 years in prison; - Ibraulhaq A. 20 years in prison. During the closing arguments, the Public Prosecutor told the court she was “stunned” by what the defendants said throughout the proceedings, stating that “there is not a trace of remorse”.

@ChadMoran @JCChristopher In the second pic FSD was off in the CT and it's quite possible it was already off in the first pic. Also, pressing accelerator with FSD on is a thing.... Just saying there are other, more likely explanations.

Btw what happens is drivers see that autopilot is about to cause a crash and disengage it to try to stop the crash and it’s too late. Then tesla gets to say that autopilot wasn’t engaged

@uncitiz4n @elonmusk @wholemars @WR4NYGov It’s beyond labeling. Calling it ‘Full Self Driving’, even if Tesla has stuck on a ‘supervised’ at the beginning, is dodgy AF Complacency is a serious consideration in UX design. Testing beta software with non expert, uncompensated members of the public is not good practice.

The media is running a story today about how a Cybertruck “allegedly” crashed on a Texas highway. Spoiler alert, the crash happened while the human driver was in control. The law firm, which is seeking $1 million, says that last summer Justine Saint Amour was driving her Cybertruck with Autopilot engaged. There’s just one problem — Autopilot is a legacy lane keeping system that never shipped on Cybertruck. The driver then admits that before the crash they disengaged the system and started driving manually. Indeed, the video shows the truck starting to turn before the driver disengaged and drove into the wall. Tesla hasn’t officially responded to the lawsuit yet, but available telemetry indicates the driver probably wasn’t paying attention, got startled, and crashed. There doesn’t seem to be any attempt to steer back towards the on-ramp in the video, rather you see the trajectory change from turning with the ramp to driving straight into it. When you crash your car, people tend to put blame on anyone but themselves. A high profile company like Tesla, with a CEO who is the wealthiest man on Earth? Yeah, they kinds of BS lawsuits happen often. Let’s wait for more data and discovery to take place, but based on the evidence i’m seeing so far that doesn’t look like something FSD — even an older V13 — would do.

@uncitiz4n @smdcapital It isn't that crazy that someone who is struggling - knows that throwing her cybertruck into a wall will get attention + payouts. with it's high safety rating knowing she will most likely be fine and the huge boner for anti-elon crowd...

I'm calling major BS on this one! I read the article, and not only is there no video of this embedded in the article, there's no reference to a video, AND there's no video. The article references the "former Uber" dude writing an essay 🤡 This did NOT happen @FredLambert

@anthonyisonline @elonmusk @wholemars @WR4NYGov I suspect because internally, autopilot is used interchangeably at Tesla. I agree that he SHOULD have said FSD. In the end it won't matter. Thankfully Tesla is trying to make some changes to make this more clear like re-labeling the buttons in the software.
