I think I'm done with Twitter/X. I've not been on for a week now and that's a good thing. I can't abide what I'm seeing with Trump, Musk and the US Oligarchy that is being built. Current plan is to close my account at some point soon. Starting again slowly on Bluesky.

First impression of @EASPORTS WRC game on the PS5 and it is undrivable for some reason. Thrust master T150 steering wheel and it is hyper sensitive. Nothing goes in a straight line. Back to GT7 until I find time to work out why it's behaving so shit.

Ah ha ! You cannot create a passkey on a @PlayStationUK account and use @1Password It only let's me use the Google account on my phone. I can't sync the passkey either so for the PS5 it is useless So passkey disabled, password reset and I'm in.

@DavidJPoole @ChShersh @InertuA @TonyBarton65 Man those were tough reviews. Made me so much better as a data pro as a result and made friends for life.

Best place I worked in terms of code quality was JetBrains. Every PR I submitted had like 50+ comments from my mentor on how to improve my code. Some might say it’s a toxic culture. But the key point is those comments weren’t rude. I really felt like my IQ grows two points every second. Code quality was unmatched there. The only place where the code was really close to being self-documented.

It's nice to see a former employer bounce back properly despite how things went with redundancy for me. Nothing to do with still having shares. Honest 😂

A complete clusterfuck of a traffic jam this morning thanks to @TraffordCouncil removing 2 of 3 lanes on Chester Rd. I get they want all cyclists to have 14 miles of clear cycle paths each, but severely restricting an arterial road into Manchester is monumentally stupid.

Amused that people often complain some tech is expensive and then see them using a multi-node cluster to run spark to do something simple like get the day of week from a date 😂
