Had a productive meeting at Janata Bhawan with Mrs. May-Elin Stener, Hon'ble Ambassador of Norway to India, Mr. Are Nagoda, Counsellor, and Ms. Undis V. Singh, Senior Advisor at the Royal Norwegian Embassy. Our discussions covered avenues for strengthening cooperation in the Education sector, with a special emphasis on skill development. In line with the #NEP2020, Assam has been placing strong focus on enhancing skill-based learning. We also explored the scope for meaningful collaboration with Norway to support and further enrich these initiatives. @himantabiswa @CMOfficeAssam

Had a very productive meeting with Hon’ble Ambassador of Norway, May-Elin Stener, who called on me at Janata Bhawan today. Our discussions centred on expanding cooperation between Assam and the Kingdom of Norway in the areas of healthcare delivery, medical services, public health systems and capacity building. Strengthening these partnerships will support our ongoing efforts to enhance quality, accessibility and innovation across the health sector in Assam. The meeting was attended by Counsellor Are Nagoda and Senior Advisor Undis Vatvedt Singh, along with the Managing Director and Executive Director of NHM Assam. @NorwayAmbIndia

Addressed the British School in New Delhi this evening, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of their International Baccalaureate programme, on the theme of “Leadership and Geopolitics“. The school offers an impressive blend of international educational standards in an Indian environment, one that will produce global citizens for the future.

In partnership with the Royal Norwegian Embassy (@norwayinindia), C3 is creating an empowering ecosystem to positively impact the lives of 10,000 adolescent girls in Chhattisgarh - so they stay in school, and push back against harmful practices like child marriage. It was C3's privilege to host HE Ms May-Elin Stener at our Delhi office, and share key insights.
