To every voter, volunteer, supporter, and friend who stood with our campaign — thank you. Thank you for your prayers, sacrifice, encouragement, and belief in our mission. I will never forget the support you showed my family and me throughout this journey. Over the course of this campaign, I had the privilege of meeting thousands of Kentuckians from every walk of life — veterans, farmers, first responders, small business owners, workers, parents, and young people hopeful for the future of our nation. Your stories inspired me every single day. The Navy SEAL Teams taught me that no mission is accomplished alone. Success requires trust, teamwork, discipline, and people willing to fight side by side for something greater than themselves. I saw that same spirit throughout this campaign, from the farms and small towns of Kentucky to the incredible grassroots team that poured their hearts into this race. While yesterday was a victory worth celebrating, there is still much work to be done. The real mission begins now. If the only nation doing that which you are bothered by is Israel, and if the only PAC doing that which you are bothered by is AIPAC, and if you drone on incessantly, endlessly and vigorously about Israel/AIPAC and no OTHER NATION OR PAC, rational, intelligent people know why that is. I suspect the social worker, indoctrinated with identity politics at university was more concerned to be seen as supportive of gay rights and more fearful of appearing homophobic than protecting that infant. How many times has this suicidal empathy led to death and harm of the innocent?

“I effing killed him” — Gay man charged with murder of baby boy he adopted. The baby’s cause of death was acute upper airways obstruction, as a result of smothering by hand, fabric, or inserted object. The child had suffered 40 injuries including external and internal bruising, and a fractured arm. Detective found videos on Varley’s phone, recorded earlier that day, with the boy lying on the bed with respiratory arrest but the defendant did not seek medical help. Varley is charged with: murder, manslaughter, two counts of assault by penetration, five counts of cruelty to a child, grievous bodily harm, sexual assault of a child, 13 counts of taking indecent photos or videos of a child, one of distributing an indecent photo of a child. A month before the child’s death, Varley told a social worker he wasn’t “bonding” with the child and was having “dark thoughts” about him, including thoughts of drowning or suffocating the baby. He said he would never act on them.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ They let him keep the baby anyway.

Again we hear of a social worker ignoring serious red flags and putting the abuser’s feelings above the poor child who they are paid to safeguard’s welfare. It’s absolutely stomach turning to know that precious wee boy might still be here had appropriate action been taken and the time and the child removed to a place of safety and one where he could have been cherished.

Now, if there were an epidemic of gay men killing babies, like Trans violence or Pit Bull violence, it would be worth noting, and looking deeper into root causes.
