If they’re not slaughtering birds and bats with windmills, they’re ripping off our precious topsoil with solar panels.
Alex Fasulo@alex_fasulo

You are looking at @USDA prime topsoil being stripped off farmland that’s hosting Excelsior Solar. The solar salesmen told everyone in the area the land would be “farmable again.” They are stripping prime topsoil that’s grown food for nearly 100 years in the area, loading it up, and taking it off the property. This video was captured by Barbie Starowitz. They are then bringing in low quality soil, clay, and crushed rock to take its place. Where is the prime topsoil going? The drivers do their best to hide that from the landowners in Byron. The resources, like topsoil, are extracted during late or early hours, sometimes behind fencing so landowners that leased can’t measure the resources they are losing (and not being paid for - more posts on that). One investigation uncovered the soil goes to a local dump, as part of an arrangement with incoming hazardous waste that the landfills will have to accept. For legal purposes, this investigation uncovered that allegedly. USDA prime topsoil takes 100 to 500 years to form. But it only takes an afternoon for it to be loaded into trucks, carted off as part of the biggest scam ever peddled on the American public. ORES doesn’t monitor the worksites. It’s the Wild West. And it’s all on purpose.

@OneWheelForward I have been pondering a few brilliant ideas (or hare-brained schemes) myself. Hopefully can share with you and Mrs. OWF tomorrow.

I was sitting by the pool today, marinating in some much-needed Vitamin D, staring into the distance with that look that usually worries my family. Then it hit me. I turned to my wife and asked, "Are you pondering what I'm pondering?" She didn't even blink. She just sighed... the kind of sigh that says, "I've left this man unsupervised for far too long." See, when I'm left alone with my thoughts, one of two things happens: 1️⃣I come up with a brilliant idea. 2️⃣I convince myself it's brilliant. Statistically... it's usually Option 2. My wife immediately asks, "What are you up to now?" Before I can answer, my daughter chimes in from across the pool: "PAAAAA... WHAT NOW?!" Me: "The same thing I do every night..." dramatic pause... "...Try to take over X!" "But tonight... I actually have a plan" Wife: "Let's hear it..." Expecting a detailed explanation and some highly controversial thought out strategy.. Me: "Still working on it.." Needless to say, I figured a tactical retreat was my best survival strategy before I got baptized by an airborne pool noodle... or worse, my wife's sense of justice. Unfortunately, the temporary fix on my flat tire apparently joined Team Wife and promptly resigned from duty. My wheel went flatter than my chances of winning that argument, leaving me sitting there like a stranded shopping trolley while the laughter got closer. Turns out, when you're a quadriplegic with a flat tire, "making a quick getaway" is less of a plan and more of an inspirational fantasy. Luckily my solid tires should arrive tomorrow, 🤔 Might try a different approach once they fitted. 🤫

I love Tesla 🔋🚀
"A guy looked at my airplane the other day and said I wonder how many people I could have fed for the price of that airplane... I replied I am not sure, it fed a lot of families at the Dassault factory where it was built. I’m sure it fed a bunch of families that rolled the aluminum at the Alcoa factory. It surely fed a lot of people at the Honeywell factory where the experts built the turbines. It fed a whole company for a few weeks when I had them build me a new interior. It feeds the families of the linemen that fuel it. That’s the difference between capitalism and a welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills. When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self worth. Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value. Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for."

My aunt is Patti LaBelle. She's not a great singer because she's black. She's a great singer because she's Patti LaBelle. Same way Dolly Parton isn't a great singer because she's white. She's a great singer because she's Dolly Parton. Greatness isn't determined by skin color. It's determined by talent, discipline, and what a person can actually do. Reducing someone's achievements to their race doesn't honor them. It diminishes them. And that's EXACTLY what happens when you reduce iconic characters to the color of their skin - instead of who they were created to be. That's the problem with race-swapping, and why I'll NEVER stop condemning it.

Good Sunday Morning! I made it home last night, after 4 flight schedules, 2 cancelled, one was not going to get me home until tonight (Sunday), and the last one had me doing 23 hours of travel, 3 countries, but I am home! Pups were thrilled when they realized it was me. Sparky, Bowzer and Wings followed me all night. Even this morning they were excited. Today, is our 46th anniversary, so I wanted to be home.😘🎊 It will be a day of watching golf and laundry. Have a blessed day.🙏❤️🇺🇸⛳️

Good morning, you beautiful friends! ☀️ I was in full “genius at work” mode, pilot headphones clamped on, laser-focused on my music like a fighter pilot trying to land on a potato. Wife and kiddo are chilling on the balcony, soaking up the blue skies, zero Canadian smoke for once. Pure peace. Then… the music cuts out. Dead silence. And right on cue, my daughter unleashes a blood-curdling scream that could wake the dead: “WTF!!!” My soul left my body. I went from relaxed dad to full panic in 0.2 seconds. Heart? Skipped two beats and filed a complaint. Stomach? Tightened like it was doing CrossFit. My poor asshole? Started power-vacuuming the cushion so hard I thought I was gonna need a search party for it. I’m mid-heart-attack when I hear the follow-up: “BAMBI! BAMBI! BAMBI!!!” Y’all… a mama deer and her baby were just casually strolling through the parking lot like they were window-shopping for a used Honda on a Saturday. Bambi looked like she was judging the trim levels. In South Africa that deer would’ve been lunch before it finished its first “moo.” Here? They just vibing, living their best life, unbothered. 10/10 start to the day. My butthole is still recovering, but my heart is full. God bless America and her fearless parking-lot deer. 🦌😂

For the other locations I don’t know if you’re calling or using the web but a lot of times the actual inventory is different from what they have updated in the system. You might want to call the actual stores. Particularly with nice vehicles, there’s a lot of detailing that happens after someone turns it in so they may have the car you’re looking for on property but it has not been properly polished to have it back up and running. It’s possible that they have something like a cyber truck and if you tell them you’re fine taking it as is, maybe they make it available to you. So basically if you’re checking only by the Internet, you are limiting your choices call the actual human. If they don’t have any inventory – ask them for their suggestion because as rental people they may be willing to send you to their competition since they’re not losing money.

Where can I rent a cybertruck in Atlanta? Every car rental place has no American cars, I wanted a mustang but none seem to be available in Atlanta. The trouble is I wanted to drive it out of Atlanta and it won’t be coming back, it’s a one way trip and i haven’t decided where to. Just going to hit the road. @elonmusk pls

@MikeBales It's the same shirt? 🤨- starched and ready to get back to work. Why would someone looking that healthy still be in a hospital room?

Another sketchy ‘proof of life’ pic from Mitch. Hey doctors and nurses — what’s wrong with this photo? When did they start posting room numbers on the inside and hang charts on the side of the bed?

I guarantee that Mitch McConnell is NOT in a dumpy hospital room that looks like it’s in a 25-bed rural facility. All the biggest and most prominent hospitals have luxurious VIP units that are more like hotel rooms than hospitals. You think the swamp hasn’t made sure the local DC facilities can care for them in the manner to which they are accustomed?

I was “black” when I read The Odyssey in high school... ...but somehow I never imagined the characters as looking like me. Why? Because they were GREEK characters. I didn’t need Odysseus to look like me to appreciate his story. I didn’t need Helen of Troy to look like me to understand her importance. They were Greek characters from a specific culture, with a specific history. And this is what Hollywood keeps getting wrong. We don’t identify with characters because they look like us. We connect with them because we recognize something human in them - their struggles, their courage, their flaws, their values. Odysseus is a GREEK hero. Helen of Troy is a GREEK woman. Their identities are part of what makes their stories meaningful. Casting Colombians and Africans and Indians as Greek ISN'T "representation." It’s just insulting. Stop it.

A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A... ...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was. His name is Gilbert Martin. Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil." Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC. He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position. Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil! Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application. He was 86 years old at the time. He's been there ever since. Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday. He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him. His official job is dining host. Clean tables. Clean floors. But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is: "I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that." A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone. And Wilmington noticed. When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him. Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire. He says if you ever see him working, come say hi. "I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.” We need more of this in the world!!!!
