We are finally in our new apartment, exciting times. But wow was it a roller coaster ride.🎢 Woke up yesterday with bad news 🥺 @Macys won't be delivering our beds. This was all arranged more than a week ago. They even confirmed delivery time the day before. Next delivery date only next week Wednesday 😤 On the end we had to cancel our order, hire a @uhaul and my wife and daughter spend the day searching For beds. Thankfully, they found some bed but had to do all the heavy lifting themselves. Needless to say both of their backs are just about to quit their bodies But in on our own place in our own beds. 🥳

America, you have left a bittersweet taste in the hearts of the Norwegian fans. They came to your country, seen the truth about the American people, and even though they leave the World Cup, I am convinced each one of them felt welcomed. The American people fell in love with the Norwegians, because they embraced their culture, their heritage, and their fighting spirit. Well done USA for showing your true colors rather than fake media narratives. This World Cup has been amazing. Even with my huge time difference, I've watched plenty of the games. On to the Semi finals now and what a knockout stage its going to be. France v Spain and then Argentina v England Bigger names and teams you won't find right now. Keep showing up Americans, show the world how inviting and caring you truly are.

@OneWheelForward It is these small things that are important in life. Too many Americans have closed their eyes & minds to the luxuries we have & believe the media & others who want to destroy our way of life. We take too many things for granted. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Felt kind of sad today. So we went for a stroll and I'm amazed by the parks and play areas where families are just out enjoying the lovely sunny ☀️ weather. Play areas for kids are all over, here in Cleveland. Clean and well maintained. Can't remember when last did I see a play area in South Africa. And the last I saw was so run down and vandalized you won't believe it. What happened to South Africa to bring some people to a point where they want to leave? But the big thing for me now is, why is there so many that want to paint America in a bad light. Today I saw children playing and having fun in a free and safe environment in public areas. What a privilege. God bless America 🇺🇸. Thank you.

@OneWheelForward I think a lot of those that claim to hate the US live in the deep blue democrat run cities and never venture out of them to see how most of the US lives. Hope you're getting comfortable in your new city.

Day 5 in America. 🇺🇸❤️ Yesterday was another day of firsts. We stopped by Sprouts Farmers Market for some bread, cheese and tomatoes... and somehow came home with a whole cooked chicken too. 🤣 It was delicious! Then we caught the bus downtown to Brenden Theatres to watch Young Washington. A huge thank you to @VChannelling for blessing our family with the movie tickets, popcorn and M&M's. ❤️🙏 Can we just talk about the size of American movie popcorn and drinks?! 😳🍿🥤 I was still sipping my drink two hours after the movie ended. 🤣 The theatre itself was HUGE! The only disappointment of the day? We only spotted the butter flavor station after the movie was over. 🤣 We had no idea you could add butter to your popcorn! Consider us officially educated. Next movie... extra butter. 🍿😅 Another surprise... you can actually buy beer at the movie theatre! 🤣🍺 We definitely weren't expecting that. We stuck with root beer though... and I think it might just have become my new favourite soda. 😍 The movie was fantastic and I'd highly recommend it. I must admit, near the end I felt a little emotional. Sitting there, watching a movie about America's founding while realizing that we're actually living here now... it was a pretty special moment. Those recliner seats though... 😴🤣 I nearly drifted off a couple of times! It felt like an oven outside, then we walked into what felt like a fridge. Next time we'll definitely wear warmer clothes... or, as my daughter said, "I'm bringing a blanky!" 😂 When the movie finished, we tried getting a Lyft back to the motel, but the app didn't want to cooperate, so we tried Uber instead. Since there are five of us, we had to order an XL. A Ford Expedition pulled up. Oh. My. Word. 🤣 What an absolutely gorgeous vehicle! It was beyond luxurious, incredibly spacious, and probably the most comfortable ride we've ever had. We looked at each other and just started laughing because for a few minutes we genuinely felt like celebrities. 😂 One thing that still amazes us... it was around 8:30 p.m. when we came out of the theatre and it was still daylight. We keep looking at each other and saying, "How is the sun still up?" 😂 Every day here teaches us something new, and we're loving every minute of this new adventure. ❤️🇺🇸

Today it has been exactly 4 months since we landed in the US. It still feels surreal at times and other times I catch myself saying overpass, and last name, and “you’re good” instead of “pleasure” lol. We feel so blessed and at times guilty that we are here, imposter syndrome is definitely a thing! We are loving our new home and will forever be in the debt of the good people of the USA…! Today I am out and about, enjoying the freedom of a solo hike in the most beautiful place 😍 🙏🏻🇺🇸

🇺🇸 @realDonaldTrump @POTUS @WhiteHouse @elonmusk Mr. President, Hundreds of South African families completed every step of the US refugee process — interviews, security checks, documents uploaded. In June 2026 we received a wave of ineligibility letters. Our official portals still show “Under Review.” We face documented persecution. We are grateful for America’s legacy as a beacon for the oppressed and for your past recognition of the challenges in South Africa. Please review these cases. Give the “ineligibles” the chance for safety and a big, beautiful American comeback. We are not asking for special treatment — only fairness and hope. What's interesting is most of those bashing the program or America has never been to America. And having been in America on holiday is not the same. Everything we were told about America was a lie or somehow misinformation. The people are friendly and very helpful and It is safer than SA. God bless America 🇺🇸

"There is no guaranteed safe landing on the other side"....... I have to disagree with your post on this statement. America provides exactly this, safety. Unfortunately there are many who abuse the refugee program, using this lifeline as a cheap immigration option. It is quite obvious. America to be selective to whom they approve is certainly up to them. Surely if you were in their shoes you would be selective of who you allow into your country would you not? 🚨 Being a refugee is indeed a privilege and not a right. Yes, it is not easy, but it is worth the challenges for a safer, better future for us all. While you claim to highlight the truth, you conveniently forget to mention that even if all the Whites in South Africa should stand together the numbers just ain't enough to make any difference. Yes, my heart breaks for those who were denied. I do fear for their safety and protection every day. However to discourage people from applying for the refugee program is foolish to say the least. The refugee program is exactly what a refugee program should be. It is a lifeline for those who are suffering prosecution from their own government and cannot afford to get out of the country but have tried, really tried. We are here already, settling in more and more every day. We love the American culture, the awesome American people and their incredible generosity. Every day after arriving with nothing is a better day than the previous one. Assimilation is key to success. ✨ Respect everyone and you will receive so much in return. This is just common sense. The reward outweighs the risk a million to one, you can take my word for it. Be blessed. 🙏

🚨 AFRIKANERS: HUNDREDS NOW RECEIVING REJECTION LETTERS FROM TRUMP’S REFUGEE PROGRAM‼️ If You Go There Is Often No Comeback. Don’t Bet Your Family’s Life on It🔥 A large group of South Africans who applied to flee to America under President Trump’s special refugee programme for Afrikaners have just received letters: Your application is rejected‼️ This is the first time rejection letters on this scale have gone out since the programme began last year. Earlier it looked like a lifeline for those living in fear of farm murders, farm attacks and targeted violence🔥 Now the door is slamming shut for many. Here is the hard truth you must hear: Even if your application is approved and you manage to go, this is not a simple “try America and see.” When you enter as a refugee claiming persecution in South Africa, returning home can destroy the very protection you received‼️ Some who already went have come back, the adjustment, costs and new struggles proved too much. Uprooting your family, selling what you have, spending money and hope and then reversing it is brutal‼️ The violence and murders on our farms and in our rural areas are real. We know the pain and fear. That is why so many looked to this programme as a possible escape but do not make a permanent decision based on a programme that is now rejecting people and has already seen some returnees‼️ There is no guaranteed safe landing on the other side and there may be no easy way back if it goes wrong🔥 Before you pack and apply: •Get proper legal and tax advice on what ceasing residency or claiming refugee status really means. •Understand that this US programme is selective and can change. •Consider strengthening your position here through civil rights organisations, community security and political pressure while you still can. This is not a game, your family’s future is at stake‼️ Hundreds are now reading rejection letters after months or years of hope. Don’t let your family be next in line for disappointment and irreversible loss🔥 The situation and choices are serious. Act with your eyes wide open‼️ P.S- White Afrikaners, it's time to stand together and fight for our land, our rights and our future.. Remove the illegal foreign workers they are the ones killing our farmers The corrupt ANC wants White South Africans to flee so they can seize total control of our country. We will not run or surrender because South Africa is our home and future!! 🫡God bless our people, give us courage and wisdom in these dark days🙏🏻

I'm sitting here, thinking about the last week. Everything that happened and how peaceful today was. I keep coming back to how privilege we are to be here in the land of the free. It boggles my mind that there is people here that just Don't get how privileged they are to be here. Thank you America and every person who support us. People I have never met and has no reason to help. Thank you. 🇺🇸

I recently watched a short of quite a controversial figure explaining how South Africans got soft, especially under the white population. Now I don't mean to make this a racial thing, or offend anyone, but it stuck with me and brought back some memories of my child hood considering his opinion. I was about 6 to 8 years old... My dad was a flight instructor and plane mechanic. Mostly Cessna's. Fridays after work, the clubhouse at the local airstrip would be packed. The men would have a jol, play pool, darts, braai, put back beers and then when they were all on like Donkey Kong, they'd go throw each other out of a plane, parrachuting at midnight to the sounds of Dire Straits, Metallica and ACDC. Today we have many words for that sort of thing. But they don't make men like that anymore.

Guys I am 100% in support of this.. Maybe our first future to be Afrikaner governor. This is the kind of man who doesn’t just talk about integrity, he’s lived it. Honest. Steadfast. Proud. For Alabama. Jason’s journey from standing up for what’s right in South Africa to building a life here in America is exactly the kind of grit and principle we need more of in leadership. @Jason2bartlett
