extremely and utterly and insanely THRILLED to announce The Grand Exhibition Everyday by @beeple is now in my collection!!!!
Beeple was cool enough to agree to a trade for my Broken Key, Retro1969, which serendipitously is the Broken Key he featured in the scene!!!
quick story.. a few weeks prior to the Grand Exhibition, that particular Broken Key came up for sale, Retro1969, (i just sold a few Muse prints so i had liquidity readily available) and i couldn't shake the feeling of needing to get this Broken Key back in my collection. this of course was all prior to me knowing Beeple would be making an Everyday about the Grand Exhibition... had no bloody idea at all.
lo and behold, the day of the exhibition came and Beeple tweeted this out and for one, the honor i felt to see this is inexplicable. i can't put into words what i feel when i spend time with this Everyday.
the entire scene and details, the skull lights, skull rocks, laserEyes, the Muse, "IN MUSE WE TRUST", max pain v2, the flowers, his version of the Grand Skull Piano, a.c.k. & Daughters, everything, it just blew my mind and still does to this day.
it's no secret that Beeple's art is what onboarded me to this world, and to get to a place where i now own a Beeple 1 of 1 based on my art which somehow captures the essence of the thing i brought to life which took so much out of me, a grueling 2 year journey, is absolutely mental and seeing this piece from him on that day immediately took all my fear and anxiousness away and gave me peace.
as weeks went on, i revisited the Everyday weekly just studying the work and appreciating it, and finally i built up the nerve to text him and propose the idea of trading Retro1969 for THE GRAND EXHIBITION Everyday, to which he said that's a great idea, and now here we are! so fucking stoked, there's no words really and i couldn't be more thrilled to finally own a work from the legend himself!!!

When I saw "Blockchain Murder" come up for sale I did a little digging (w the generous help of Ack). What I found completely blew me away. @0xTjo comment that this is "easily the most interesting ACK out there imho" nails it perfectly - IMHO.
I had no idea what was behind this work.
@RogerDickerman did a great job giving some insight into what @lphaCentauriKid did by creating, burning, and bringing this piece back to life.
Terms such as "grail" and "epic" get thrown around a lot, but this piece is THE GRAIL of my collection. I couldn't be more psyched to own it. I sold my autoglyph to make it happen.
I hope @lphaCentauriKid does a proper thread on "Blockchain Murder" because I could never do justice to the creative process employed.
ACK is an absolute genius and this will become more and more obvious to so many outside our little bubble as time passes.

🖼️ 24 HOURS OF ART 📊 January 28, 2026 🌹 ROI Revival ‘ROI’ by @lphaCentauriKid is acquired for 27.5 ETH (~$83,000 USD) by @shinyrockz. It is the sole artwork in the ‘Blockchain Murder’ collection. Originally minted January 18, 2022, it subsequently sold to @tdbee123 for 100 ETH ($316,150 USD). “I’m supposed to kill you??” The artwork has an interesting backstory. Created to depict a scene with collectors and doctors standing over a.c.k.’s death bed “waiting for [him] to die so they can 1000x their investment by selling [his] art”, it offered the collector an unplug function. “yes, just trust me.” Trill pulled the plug. “Congratulations, YOU killed ACK” This initiated a chain of events, metaphorically killing the artist, taking down his social account, sending the 1/1 artwork to a burn address, and altering existing artworks ‘Ethereal Rose and ‘til death do us part’. “The collector is forgiven of any wrongdoing as they were merely a piece in Death’s puzzle of revenge. Long Live the Muse.” Three days later all was restored, reviving the artist and artwork, and altering it into its final (and current) scene. 🎭 Shape Legacy We catch up on an under-the-radar exchange. ‘Legacy Derivative’ by @SamSpratt - 1 of 50 Council Masks in the 613 ‘Masks of Luci’ collection - is exchanged by @bonafidehan for ENS address Shape.eth from ENSagent.
