Qullamaggie often spoke about how almost no one does a proper deep dive into market structure or makes the effort to study 1000s of charts. And he mentioned how psychology was never the problem. Meanwhile, you get traders who declare that most of trading is psychology or mindset. Can both be right? Possibly yes. Because we may just be talking semantics. Put ‘gimmicky’ psychology to one side. What are you left with? You have Kristjan saying traders don’t do enough deep study. And deep study gives what? Conviction. Clarity. Then you get traders highlighting mindset problems. When you intellectually know a market truth, but aren’t acting in accordance with that knowledge. Again, that suggests a lack of clarity about your strategy. You know its benefits, but haven’t given enough thought to the drawbacks — or the fact that trading inevitably involves suboptimal decision-making. A deep dive into market structure makes you realise how stocks have *always* moved in the same way. And how in different stages of the market cycle, different strategies work best. That type of deep dive doesn’t just make you realise that your time will come if you can just be patient enough. It also shows you under what conditions your strategy (setup) works best — a key thing Kristjan always banged on about as part of that deep dive. The more clarity I gain, the more I realise how little clarity I had before — and how much more I still have to learn. But that mental clarity may just come from a deeper dive into the technical stuff.

i highly doubt doctors and surgeons will be automated within 3 years just another example of elon talking straight out his ass i do think a lot of doctors underestimate how fake their jobs are however when i worked in pharma it was incredibly obvious to me that most doctor work is fake work that could easily be automated and doctors are more just these authority figure type persons in healthcare used to tell patients what to do what i mean by that is hardly any doctor truly thinks for themselves, most are just trained by pharma and all their expertise and functionality is based on the designs made from within pharma, like essentially healthcare is just a massive cash machine and all treatment pathways and medical equipment and so on are part of an intricate supply chain and profit scheme, thus what doctors use, how they use it, the studies they reference, their available treatment pathways, even how they talk to patients - all these things are designed and preconfigured for them but anyway we might see teleoperated surgery in ~5 years, meaning all the bad surgeons will probably lose their jobs and then the best surgeons can operate remotely from anywhere in the world controlling robots maybe all standard doctor work and patient interactions can be automated by ai pretty fast too, the hardest part would probably be getting patients to trust it more than it would be automating the doctors and then the first fully automated robot surgeons that can surpass humans in skill would probably first be in like ~15 years realistically, and that's assuming everything goes well and they can go through clinical trials without errors and what not

One thing that hurts Indian men, especially the light-skinned ones, when it comes to dating is that they can easily be lumped in with "Muslims" and "Arabs". Brown Arab guys have a horrible reputation amongst Western women due to stereotypes of Islam being oppressive. Indian guys who are around the same skin tone get lumped in with them and have to fight that stereotype. Meanwhile, the Indian guys who can pass for Black do not.

Built an empire worth billions. None of it mattered when it counted. I treat patients who did everything right. Wealth, access, top physicians. They still end up in my office with advanced disease because the conventional approach detected it too late or treated it too aggressively too slowly. The specific type of cancer was kept private and that should be respected. What I can say is that early-onset cancers across the board are rising. More aggressive. More advanced at diagnosis. Younger patients are presenting with disease that we used to only see in people decades older. At 43, his immune system should have been in its prime. Cancer doesn't take hold in a body where the immune system is doing what it's supposed to do. Something is breaking down in younger people, and we're not moving fast enough to figure out why.

Losing my mind Every loss drags my mental deeper and deeper I know the technicals I know the Strategy I know not to "tilt" But I lose and I lose and I lose and I lose and I lose Something I think I know I must not. This is extremely mentally taxing, to work and practice over and over. To go and then lose, and lose, and lose. I'm driving into the same wall over and over and over and is sucksssssss. I'm not gonna sugar coat this, I hate this so much, I just want to win. Posting these losses sucks horribly, My red posts stick out in your timeline like a soar thumb. Everywhere people winning, while I am stuck in this loop over and over. I am going to figure this out, I promise I will. I just need to find my problem. I don't know what it is.

a really big part of this period of stepping away from crypto is to really face my failure, and all the crushing regret that is coming with it, head on, to embrace it, and understand it is simply a part of my life story. a part of me knows that i have wasted a big chunk of my life doing this - i don't have a desire to vibecode, or build another business, or do any of the 'transferable' projects or pursuits that most cookie cutter crypto bros delve into when they're not trading the markets. therefore, the skills i have acquired pursuing this financial goal obsessively hold very little weight for anything else i want to do with my life. without walking away with life-changing money from crypto, nothing else matters. nevertheless, we all have to accept our lives for what it has been up to this exact moment in time, and understand that only that which lies ahead can be reshaped, paved and curated into something new and different. we all have regrets, regardless of whether some of us assert 'no regrets' as part of our modus operandi - it is simply part of life's struggle. i think we have to deal with our regrets head on, and only then can we strive to move past them, and try and be a better version of ourselves somewhere down the line. there's always another chance, until the day you take your last breath.

How to get Xolair prescribed in Germany? I have #MCAS and they wouldn’t prescribe it off-label for it. I tried to get it prescribed for chronic urticaria, as my nightly MCAS episodes come with horrible itching and flushing. Was laughed out and denied (presumably due to costs).

@Gmwetz For me Xolair was in particular been a gamechanger in terms of damping down adrenaline dumps, as during pollen allergy season I would be stuck for days/weeks in horrible adrenaline dumps => unrefreshing sleep => waking up tired, but wired even on 8x H1 a day

So it’s 48 Hours After my last adrenaline dump and 72 hours after my last clay dose. I have ramped up my electrolytes and trace minerals since then. No new adrenaline dumps so far. Also severe weakness is better. (But again it also could be that I had an asymptomatic infection - triple testing were negative) Whether it was this or the other - I guess it was a really bad combination. Adrenaline dumps are no joke - and certainly not helpful for PEM aftermath
