If you don’t like gerrymanders, ratify the original first amendment, which set an upper limit of 50,000 people per US House district. 7,000 districts would be much harder to gerrymander than 435.

One radical idea: end gerrymandering through at-large U.S. House seats apportioned by partisan voting patterns. Example: 30 percent of a state votes for Democrats? There are 10 seats in that state in total? 3 go to Democrats. The same would apply for my party.
It’s fair, reflects the way people really vote and is more representative than the salamander shaped districts we currently see.
Math is fair, everyone understands it, and if voters want to change the apportionment, they have to register and vote differently.

@johnnymaga I see your point about the paint, but a reflection pool isn't supposed to look natural like a lake. Having a black or grey bottom is key because it allows for a mirror-like surface. Blue tinted reflection pools have a blue tinted reflection.

The water is not crystal clear, chlorine-treated pool water. It’s pulled from the Potomac River.
The blue surface is also much darker than this upon curing.
It’s going to look natural.

No one is ready for the real solution to Gerrymandering: A return to the Constitution's original standard of 1 Member of Congress for every 30,000 Americans, resulting in an 11,000-member House with city-council sized districts so small you can't Gerrymander them if you tried.

For All Mankind can be accused of a lot but one thing it gets right is how you'd want to design a firearm for use in space.
First of all, yes. A gun can fire in space because the powder would still burn and produce gas in a vacuum, and the casing is airtight. The main hurdles are keeping the action lubricated, which can be difficult as liquids evaporate quickly in vacuum, and heat build up. You need air to sink heat efficiently, and surfaces heat up quicker in direct sunlight with no atmosphere. The white coloring if the rifle is meant to reflect more sunlight to prevent excessive heat build up.
The scope setup looks awkward, and that's because it is. The show actually covers it when they're learning to shoot in their suits.
The attention to detail makes the following fuck up when someone actually gets shot all the more annoying.
