Brian BLT Bardsley is now openly crediting the honesty and detective work of Yuri Bukhenik. In an interview where Lucky Loughran said he saw a Ford Edge and no body outside Brian Albert’s house, Bukhenik chose to focus on the fact that he assumed I recorded my interview with Lucky 2 days before, which I then wrote about. Bukhenik did this to distract from the fact that he should be looking for that Ford Edge, and instead was looking for ways to get me for reporting on it. BLT seems to think highly of the detective work done by Bukhenik, which makes sense since he is now friendly with all the people who want Karen Read in jail for life.

@Ade_Dohyeen Parents don’t sleep in the same room as long as I can remember except for on Christmas morning, lol when we’d all go in there with our stockings they had five children and they’ve been married since 1966 and still going. I personally would not like it, but everybody is different.

My parents slept in separate rooms my whole childhood. I asked my dad about it once. He said they made a deal early because my mum snores and he tosses. He said they sat down one evening and talked it through like a business meeting. His words. He said the first night apart they both slept like babies. He said they were happier than they had ever been. He never told people. Because when he said separate rooms they said oh I'm sorry. He said he was never sorry. He was just tired of explaining that love does not have to mean sharing a blanket. They are still married 39 years later.

My wifes grandmother was a high end waitress for 50 years with impeccable standards on providing top end waitress service at these establishments in San Francisco. One day we took her out for breakfast and I thought the service could have been better but like the bleeding heart I can be sometimes, I placed a 20 percent tip on the tabel. She promptly picked it up and told me to keep it and she laid the 2 pennies down and said this is why . SO... never forgot it. She said the waitress will get the message too and become a better waitress someday maybe.

My wife and I went out to dinner last night, and the bill came out to $125. I left a $20 tip on the table, thinking that was pretty reasonable. But the waiter looked at it and flat-out refused to take it. He told us that if we weren’t willing to leave at least $50, we shouldn’t be eating out in the first place. I was honestly caught off guard. I felt embarrassed sitting there, like we’d done something wrong. We weren’t trying to be cheap or disrespectful — I genuinely thought $20 was a fair tip for that bill. Now I keep replaying the whole thing in my head, wondering if I misjudged it and questioning whether $20 really wasn’t enough.

@Eman_8282 24$ minimum if service is bad. Ppl forget waiters min wage is crap. My checks were barely enough to cover med ins. $2.50 a hr & this was at a high restaurant Smith&Wollensky! This was 15+ yr ago 20% was low end. Service industry is HARD work! I made a lot $ but glad to be out!
