Checking into our hotel, a stink suddenly fills the lobby. A well put together, nicely dressed woman in her 50s is speed waddling by. It was like watching a penguin sprint. I don't know if she had too many mimosas at Mother's Day brunch or maybe the Eggs Benedict was a bad idea, but she shit herself. No hyperbole here, full on just didn't make it to her room in time. White pants were a poor choice. Just from her running by, it was nauseating. They're going to have to burn the room and possibly the entire hotel. Her daughter or at least who appeared to be her daughter was trailing behind, looking at the ground shaking her head in disbelief.

I spy a pattern… 🤔 It’s quite a coincidence that both of these guys gave media the most offensive quotes they could dream up, which the media then wrapped around the necks of Republicans at every turn, only for both of them to support Democrats once they were no longer useful for this purpose. Strange isn’t it? If I didn’t know any better I’d almost think it was by design that they ended up in this role. For any young man who reflectively wants to defend Nick, what has he done for you? There’s much more but my point is, some of us are actually doing things to materially benefit your life. People like Nick are concerned with benefiting themselves, and they use rhetoric to relate to you so you feel like they’re on your side… but seriously, what has he done for you aside from entertaining you with some of his antics? Nothing. The man can’t lead a family, doesn’t have kids, doesn’t even seem to want a wife (sus) and he’s done nothing for the vast majority of you. Find a better man to look up to and follow.

Seeing a lot of "why hasn't DOJ sued my state which has an AWB/mag ban!?". Because it would probably be pointless as there is already controlling caselaw in that circuit. There's two reasons a lawsuit of that kind makes sense: 1. There is no controlling AWB precedent in that circuit, or no case way ahead of it on the same issue that awaits a ruling. The Denver lawsuit falls into this category, as the 10th Circuit has yet to definitively rule on the issue post-Bruen. 2. There is controlling precedent, but no case is pending at SCOTUS right now from that circuit. Virginia in the 4th Circuit would fit this category. After Snope was denied last year, there is no 4th Circuit case waiting on a cert decision that I am aware of, so DOJ could quickly lose its way up to SCOTUS without getting stayed to await some other case. If DOJ filed a lawsuit against, e.g., the Washington State assault weapons ban, it would get immediately stayed pending Miller (which is awaiting a ruling in the Ninth Circuit) or pending a cert decision in Duncan. It would be pointless. Hope that helps.
