India have now lost four of their last six Tests at home 😳

bit.ly/AIbd70 70 years ago today, on August 31, 1955, the term "Artificial Intelligence" was first used by John McCarthy in a proposal for the Dartmouth Summer Research Project on Artificial Intelligence. Held in 1956, it is considered a founding event of the field.

@prajdabre Nobody has worked in AI for 15 years! 🙄

unsolicited advice for zoho: pls dont model arrattai after whatsapp because that path only leads to being the second best communications app. instead look east, go for an wechat alternative which is far more advanced and diverse. the super app is not a silicon valley dream, it is an asian reality born here and scaled here. western companies will never understand it let alone compete in it. govt kept wechat out and in doing so left the field open. that gap is ours to fill. arattai can be the platform that carries not just messages but commerce payments communities the daily rhythm of digital life. if anyone can build it for india and beyond it is zoho. zoho has a once in a generation chance with arattai. let’s go 🚀🚀

Start with basics. Teach civic sense in schools (but hey the teachers in schools themselves need to learn basic civic sense). A Singaporean once told me that on the first day of school, kids are taught 2 things: 1)wash your hands before you eat; 2)don’t pick up or take anything that doesn't belong to you. These lessons are constantly drilled into kids. Can we not teach basic hygiene and basic courtesy, traffic sense, the sense to not inconvenience anyone, not parking wrongly, not drive like an idiot, to follow road rules, not to throw garbage on the streets (the spectacle of ministers and politicians and babus holding broms in an anti-septic environment does nothing for Swachh Bharat). Teach these basics everyday to every class in every school and even college in the country.
