I'm traveling the world for a bit, starting with China but then hopping around the globe, anywhere. Open to any adventure. No plans, only a backpack. Hoping to meet & get to know humans from all walks of life. The pic is from a long hike on the Great Wall. For me, as a fan of history, this was an epic experience.
In China, first I'm visiting a few big cities & talking to engineers at the heart of China's AI revolution. After that, if feeling crazy enough, I'm hitchhiking (first time) across rural China for a few weeks. Hitchhiking because I think it's the best way to meet rural folks who I would otherwise never get the chance to meet. I hope to do the same in US and other places.
I have a request, if you have a travel recommendation, fill out the form(s) below if you feel like it. Or share with folks who might have advice about such travel.
Form 1 - travel recommendation:
If you can, recommend to me an interesting place I should visit anywhere in the world. For this, fill out form 1. Not touristy stuff, but something off the beaten path, that tourists may not know about, but is legendary. It could be as remote as meeting a herder in the mountains who is a local legend. Asia, Middle East, Europe, India, South/North America, Africa, Australia, anywhere. In China, I'm hoping to visit maybe Heibei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Yunnan, etc, so recommendations for spots to visit are helpful.
Form 2 - coffee:
If you want to grab a coffee with me anywhere in the world, fill out form 2 (please don't use form 1 for that).
Anyway, I hectically tossed stuff in backpack. Realizing I don't have a clear plan of any kind, which is probably the only way to do it. LFG.
Love you all ❤️

One thing is to donate to a political party as long as they are in the path that you agree with. It's logical. What Farage is implying is very different: if you say these things I'll pay you guys, as if Elon had bought them. It's very different.
Farage is twisting the story, exploiting the Elon attention factor and trying to look virtuous and unbribable. I guess he refuses any donation to his party 🤷♂️
imho, this was very dishonorable of him and, perhaps, revealing.

@YorkshiremanDan @elonmusk @NaomiSeibt In my POV, Elon Musk would like Reform to be closer to what Restore is today. If so, I believe he would be willing to donate money. Keep in mind that he paid for Tommy Robinson's defense and didn’t like Reform's passive attitude about that.

🚨 NIGEL FARAGE DEFAMES ELON MUSK‼️
Nigel Farage claims, with ZERO evidence:
“He (@elonmusk) wanted to give us a load of money if I said certain things publicly and I refused.”
I bet there was NO SUCH AGREEMENT.
Elon was certainly hoping that Nigel would expose the TRUTH about the GR00MING GANGS though.
And yet, Rupert Lowe NEVER asked for Elon’s cash to do the right thing.
Could this be grounds for a libel suit against Nigel Farage?

@matterasmachine @Bivorsha @elonmusk It's like saying a book with just it's index is the same thing as the full book.

@vascoMpinto @Bivorsha @elonmusk It's like saying that google was stealing internet for 20 years - indexed for search.

NEWS: A Tesla Model S just drove itself from Los Angeles to New York with zero disengagements.
Owner Alex Roy and a team of independent autonomy experts just completed the 3,081 mile trip on FSD V14.2.2.3 with no disengagements. They were hands-off for the entire trip, including charging stops. It took 58 hours and 22 minutes at an average speed of 64 mph.
The whole trip was caught on camera, and the video will be released soon.

@Tesla_NL_TR @ICannot_Enough So, you're saying a car driver is always well protected, a motorcyclist is not. Then shouldn't the motorcyclist be the one extra careful?
English

Both sides matter. Yes, the motorcyclist was speeding and possibly going the wrong way – that’s reckless and no one wins from it.
But: a car driver (Tesla or otherwise) is always well protected inside a steel cage with airbags, crumple zones, and AEB systems designed to intervene. A motorcyclist has zero of that – one impact and you’re airborne with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Plus, that black car clearly blocked the Tesla driver’s view as they approached the intersection, making it even riskier. The Tesla driver could/should have slowed down and been more cautious, just like the motorcyclist should have.
Ultimately, both are responsible for defensive riding, but the vulnerability gap is huge. Hoping Adile and Gamze recover fully soon. 🙏 #RoadSafety

Heartbreaking crash in Antalya’s Manavgat district: A Tesla collided with a motorcycle at an intersection, throwing the rider (Adile N.Y.) and passenger (Gamze Y.) meters into the air. Both are in critical condition with life-threatening injuries and are receiving hospital treatment.
Security camera footage captured the terrifying moment – truly devastating to see.
Sending all our strength and prayers for a speedy and full recovery to Adile and Gamze. Wishing them veel sterkte in these tough times. 🙏
The Tesla’s Automatic Emergency Braking reportedly failed to prevent or mitigate the impact, raising serious questions about AEB reliability for vulnerable road users like motorcyclists.
Road safety must improve for everyone.

I have reviewed @fsd_database telemetry from @DavidMoss's Tesla Model 3 and confirmed that he drove coast to coast with zero human intervention, touching both the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic ocean
In total, his car has self-driven 10,638 miles since he last took the controls 🤯

I am proud to announce that I have successfully completed the world’s first USA coast to coast fully autonomous drive!
I left the Tesla Diner in Los Angeles 2 days & 20 hours ago, and now have ended in Myrtle Beach, SC (2,732.4 miles)
This was accomplished with Tesla FSD V14.2 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.

@DCGJoel @levelsio @Starb0y_kb There are about 1.64 billion vehicles in operation worldwide.
If you would spread out 100k vehicles all over the world, it would make them almost non existent.
English

@levelsio @Starb0y_kb We are are at 10.000 now but it is predicted to hit 100.000 in 2030. And btw LEO is already crowded, however collision risk, interference, and operational complexity will be much worse in 2030. Check out kessler effect.

🇺🇸 SAN FRAN BLACKOUT – WAYMO FROZE, TESLA DROVE
Waymo’s robotaxis got a little too real last night - by completely shutting down when San Francisco’s power outage knocked out traffic lights.
Meanwhile, Teslas on FSD? Kept rolling. No drama, no headlines - just handling chaos like it’s a walk in the park.
This is what happens when you train your AI on billions of real-world miles instead of coddling it in a simulation padded with perfect data and wishful thinking.
Waymo bet on maps and order. Tesla bet on mess - and won. When the lights go out, the difference isn’t theoretical. It’s traffic.

The problem of America is not with Musk, Bezos, or Zuckerberg. Tesla, Amazon, and Meta employees have excellent salaries and bonuses.
The problem is that Bernie Sanders is empirically rich and part of the 1% richest, yet he creates zero jobs, wealth, or prosperity.

Sen. Bernie Sanders@SenSanders
While millions of families struggle to put food on the table Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos & Mark Zuckerberg own more wealth than the bottom HALF of Americans. That’s what oligarchy is about. That’s what a rigged economy is about. Is it any wonder that people in this country are angry?
