அரசியல் விமர்சனங்களுக்காக ஒருவரின் அம்மா மற்றும் மனைவியை எல்லாம் அசிங்கமாக பேசுவது என்ன சித்தாந்தமோ என்ன கொள்கையோ. இந்த சீழ்பிடித்தவனை தமிழக பாஜகவில் இருந்து ஒரு தலைவர் கூட இதுவரை கண்டிக்கவில்லை.

In Nallur village of Tiruppur Taluk, the Executive Officer of Sri Vishveshwara Swamy Temple had given a letter to the Tiruppur Sub-Registrar stating that no document registration should be carried out in respect of the 218.41 acres of land belonging to the temple. Opposing this letter, one Mr. A.R. Shanmugasundaram filed a writ petition in the Madras High Court. In that petition, the Madras High Court set aside the letter issued by the Executive Officer and directed that the land of Mr. Shanmugasundaram be registered. Challenging this order, the temple filed an appeal before the Madras High Court on 10.09.2025. This appeal petition (W.A. No. 2238/2026) came up for hearing today (29.07.2026) before Hon’ble Justice Shri Jayachandran and Hon’ble Justice Shrimati Mala. Advocate Mr. Arun Natarajan (formerly Special Government Pleader for @tnhrcedept ) appeared on behalf of the temple. After hearing the case, the Hon’ble Judges held that the letter given by the Executive Officer on behalf of the temple to the District Registrar was correct; that the 213 acres of temple land should NOT be registered by way of document; and that with regard to the remaining 5 acres of temple land, the temple should file a suit in the Civil Court and take appropriate steps to recover the said land. மாணிக்கம் தாகூர் அவர்களே, இளைஞர்களின் எதிர்காலம் குறித்து உண்மையாகவே கவலை இருந்தால், தரவுகளோடு பேசுங்கள்; வெறும் அரசியல் மீம்களால் அல்ல. 2014-க்கு முன் இந்தியாவில் வேலைவாய்ப்பு, அடிப்படை வசதிகள், டிஜிட்டல் சேவைகள், ஸ்டார்ட்அப் சூழல், உள்கட்டமைப்பு ஆகியவை எந்த நிலையில் இருந்தது? இன்று எந்த நிலையில் உள்ளது? அதை இளைஞர்களே ஒப்பிட்டு பார்க்கிறார்கள். ஒரு தேர்தலில் தோற்றால் “இளைஞர்கள் ஏமாந்துவிட்டார்கள்” என்றும், வென்றால் “பெற்றோர்கள் காரணம்” என்றும் கூறுவது ஜனநாயகத்தை அவமதிப்பதாகும். இளைஞர்களுக்கு சுயமாக சிந்திக்கும் திறன் இல்லை என்று சொல்வது போன்ற அகங்காரமான அரசியல் இது. வாக்காளர்களின் தீர்ப்பை மதிக்க கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். மக்களின் முடிவை ஏற்காமல், அவர்களையே இழிவுபடுத்துவது பொறுப்புள்ள அரசியல்வாதிக்கு அழகல்ல.

If Priyanka Gandhi chose to refer to Prof. V. Kamakoti as a “Gaumutra expert,” it was an unfortunate way to engage with a serious academic. You may disagree with his views, question his statements, or challenge his opinions—but reducing the Director of IIT Madras to a label does not strengthen an argument. Debate should be based on facts and evidence, not personal ridicule. And a question to @SeemanOfficial : When a distinguished Tamil academic is publicly mocked, will you speak up? Or is your concern for Tamil pride selective? Respect for Tamil achievers should not depend on their ideology, caste, or political leanings.

காவிரி விவகாரத்தில் சட்டமே பேசும்; அரசியல் அல்ல. 2018 உச்சநீதிமன்றத் தீர்ப்பில், “மேகேதாட்டு அணைக்கு தமிழ்நாட்டின் முன் ஒப்புதல் கட்டாயம்” என்று எங்கும் கூறப்படவில்லை. அதனால் கர்நாடகா நினைத்தபடி அணை கட்டிவிட முடியுமா? முடியாது. மேகேதாட்டு திட்டம் காவிரி நடுவர் மன்றத் தீர்ப்பு, உச்சநீதிமன்றத் தீர்ப்பு, காவிரி நீர் மேலாண்மை ஆணையம் (CWMA), மத்திய நீர்வள ஆணையம் (CWC), சுற்றுச்சூழல் அனுமதிகள் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து சட்ட நடைமுறைகளையும் கடக்க வேண்டும். தமிழ்நாட்டின் நீர்ப் பங்கீடு பாதிக்கப்படுகிறது என்று நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டால், திட்டம் சட்டரீதியாகத் தடுக்கப்படவும் முடியும். இல்லாத சட்டத்தை இருப்பதாகக் கூறுவதும் தவறு; இருக்கும் சட்டத்தை மறைப்பதும் தவறு. காவிரியில் உணர்ச்சி அல்ல, சட்டமே இறுதி தீர்ப்பை வழங்கும்.

கடந்த 16.02.2018 அன்று, மாண்புமிகு உச்சநீதிமன்றம் வழங்கிய காவிரி நதி நீர் பங்கீடு தொடர்பான தீர்ப்பில், கர்நாடக அரசு காவிரியின் குறுக்கே எந்தவொரு கட்டமைப்பையும் புதிதாக ஏற்படுத்த, காவிரி நதி பாயும் மாநிலங்களான தமிழ்நாடு, கேரளா மற்றும் புதுச்சேரியின் ஒப்புதலைப் பெற வேண்டும் என்று எங்கும் குறிப்பிடப்படவில்லை என நேற்றைய தினம், மாநிலங்களவையில், காவிரி நதி தொடர்பாக, மத்திய நீர்வளத் துறை அமைச்சகம் அளித்துள்ள பதில் மிகுந்த அதிர்ச்சியளிக்கிறது. கடந்த 05.08.2021 அன்று அன்றைய மத்திய நீர்வளத்துறை அமைச்சர் திரு. கஜேந்திர சிங் ஷெகாவத் அவர்கள், அணைக் கட்டுமானத்திற்கான விரிவான திட்ட அறிக்கை (DPR) தயாரிக்க, கர்நாடக மாநிலத்துக்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட அனுமதி நிபந்தனைக்குட்பட்டது என்றும், மாநிலங்களுக்கு இடையேயான நதிநீர் பங்கீடு சட்டத்தின்படி, காவிரி கடைமட்டத்தில் பாயும் மாநிலங்களின், (குறிப்பாக தமிழ்நாட்டின்) ஒப்புதல் இன்றி, நதியின் குறுக்கே அணை உள்ளிட்ட கட்டமைப்புகளை அமைக்க முடியாது என்றும் நாடாளுமன்றத்திலேயே தெளிவாக தெரிவித்திருந்தார். இந்த நிலையில், தமிழ்நாட்டு விவசாயிகளின் உரிமைகளையும், நலன்களையும் புறக்கணித்து, மத்திய அரசு தனது முந்தைய நிலைப்பாட்டிலிருந்து திடீரென பின்வாங்கியிருப்பது, கர்நாடகத் தேர்தல் அரசியலுக்காகவா என்ற சந்தேகத்தை எழுப்புகிறது. விவசாயிகளின் வாழ்வாதாரத்தைப் பாதிக்கும் இத்தகைய முக்கியமான விவகாரங்களில், மத்திய அரசு, நேர்மையாகவும், வெளிப்படையாகவும், ஒரே நிலைப்பாட்டிலும் செயல்பட வேண்டும் என எதிர்பார்ப்பது தவறா? தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களை எளிதாக எடுத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டாம். தமிழ்நாடு மற்றும் கர்நாடகா ஆகிய இரு சகோதர மாநிலங்களுக்கிடையேயான நல்லுறவை பாதிக்கும் வகையில் எந்த நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்காமல், காவிரி விவகாரத்தில் சட்டத்திற்கும் நீதிக்கும் உட்பட்டு செயல்படுமாறு, மத்திய அரசை வலியுறுத்துகிறேன்.

31 குடும்பங்களுக்கு அரசு வேலை கிடைத்தது நல்ல விஷயம் என்றால், அந்த வேலை வழங்கப்பட்ட நடைமுறை சட்டப்படி இருந்ததா என்பதைக் கேட்பது எப்படி மக்களின் வயிற்றில் அடிப்பதாகும்? நீதிமன்றத்தை நாடுவது ஜனநாயகத்தில் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் உள்ள அரசியலமைப்புச் சட்ட உரிமை. நீதிமன்றம் என்ன தீர்ப்பு வழங்குகிறது என்பதுதான் இறுதி; வழக்கு தொடர்ந்தாலே யாரும் குற்றவாளியாகிவிட மாட்டார்கள். “விஜயை எதிர்க்கிறார்கள்” என்ற காரணத்தால், எந்தக் கேள்வியையும் கேட்கக்கூடாது என்றால், அது ஜனநாயகம் அல்ல; கண்மூடித்தனமான ஆதரவு. உண்மையில், சட்டப்படி நடந்திருந்தால் நீதிமன்றத்தில் நிரூபியுங்கள். தவறு இல்லையென்றால் பயப்பட வேண்டிய அவசியமே இல்லை. அரசியல் விமர்சனத்தை “மக்களின் வயிற்றில் அடித்தது” என்று உணர்ச்சிவசப்படுத்தி பேசுவதால் உண்மை மாறாது. சட்டமே உயர்ந்தது; எந்தக் கட்சியும், எந்தத் தலைவரும் சட்டத்திற்கு மேலானவர்கள் அல்ல .

கரூரில் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட 31 குடும்பத்தினருக்கு அரசுப் பணி வழங்கிய விவகாரத்தில், #TVKVijay அரசுக்கு எதிராக தீர்ப்பு வாங்குவதாக நினைத்து, அப்பாவி மக்களின் வயிற்றில் அடித்துள்ளது #NaamTamilarKatchi மற்றும் #BJP. அப்பாவி மக்களின் வேதனையையும், வலியையும் உணராமல், விஜய் எதிர்ப்பு என்கிற பெயரில் இவர்கள் செய்யும் கூட்டு அரசியல், சீமானையும், பாஜகவையும் தொடர் தோல்வியை மட்டுமே சந்திக்க வைக்கும்.

Facebook has crossed every limit. It has blocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s post on strict action against paper leaks from being seen in India. Who gave this foreign platform the authority to censor India’s Prime Minister and decide what Indians are allowed to read? This is not “content moderation.” This is shameless interference in India’s democracy and digital sovereignty. Facebook must reveal whose “legal request” it obeyed and answer to the people of India. @facebook

If the Hon’ble High Court has held that these appointments are invalid, accountability should not stop with canceling the orders. The Court should also summon the officials and department heads who processed and issued these appointment orders. If appointments were made for political mileage without following the law, those responsible must be held personally accountable. Public employment is a constitutional responsibility, not a political tool. Fixing accountability will help prevent such incidents in the future and uphold the integrity of government recruitment.
