@SherlockHans @scriptableapp Hmm, looks like the share sheet of an iCloud Drive file in Shortcuts has fewer actions than in Files. Eg «Open in Hexer» is missing, so I’ll have to open Files or Hexer manually to open the file. Obviously I’ll manage, would just be awesome to go from Safari to hex in one tap!

@vegather @scriptableapp I’ll see whether it is feasible to implement a custom shortcut for this. Until then it might make the most sense to call the share sheet on the file?

I am way too excited to share what I am working on, even though there still are some bugs to iron out. Beta coming early next week. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday. NEW: • Text selection including copy and share • Keyboard shortcuts for settings • ContextMenu for ℹ️ • SF-Mono!

@SherlockHans @scriptableapp Cool. I completely get wanting to focus the scope. I was able to get most of the way there with Shortcuts, like you said. The only piece missing is opening the file. I’m guessing the document browser API requires user interaction, so URL Scheme etc wouldn’t easily work?

@vegather That is kinda out of the scope of this project. You can open files from files.​app though. So you should be able to execute the GET or POST requests via @scriptableapp (JavaScript), Pythonista, or probably even Shortcuts​.app.

@SherlockHans Looks incredible! Would it be possible to add more ways to load files, like GET-requests?

@gruber Noticed you had a couple of HTML tables in your XR review. That started a debate at work as to whether they are a part of Markdown or not. According to your spec they aren’t, but your HTML says otherwise. What’s the story?

@imyke I would expect it’s just the screen that’s bigger, and the body remains the same size (though perhaps a bit thinner)

@jesslynnrose At 13 I replaced the IE desktop shortcut of the shared computers at my school with a script that would reboot the computer after a 5 second count-down.

@cabel @daninorz I got the same thing, so you probably have a type. Problem is, you need sudo to edit the file to get back sudo. My fix was to enable the root user through Directory Utility (thanks root blank bug!) and fix it using root.
