The age just keeps increasing, by the time people like myself get there it won’t even be a thing anymore.
It’s so important to build your own pension pot whether that’s through your ISA, LISA or SIPP.
Anything is better than relying on the state pension.
When will people learn the government don’t care about you.
You can pay tax your whole working life for 40+ years and you won’t get rewarded for it in retirement.
They’ll take your fuel allowance money away too and have you stacking shelves in Tesco once they’ve taken your pension away…

The idea of 30–40 year retirements is an anomaly of the 1950s and needs to end.

At this rate, I've got no doubt the pension age will be 70–72 by the time I get there.
What kind of retirement is that?
People my age should be making a lot more noise about this. If we stay silent now, we'll be the ones paying the price later.

If the basic rate went from 20% to 25%, middle earners would contribute an extra £34.5bn to the Treasury. A 5% rise on the top 45% rate to 50p would raise £725m. Guess which group Labour will need to go after to raise the amounts they want.

That wouldn't be normal constipation, they would have to have severe constipation, that can't just be treated with a few over-the-counter tablets. If that is the case, it must be absolutely horrible for them and I'm sure you wouldn't wish it on anybody.
