@ShitpostRock2 People need to come to the realization modern day writers for media content do not give a f about good storytelling. Their goal is multifold:
•how do we push a certain message that means something only to us?
•how do we pander to niche audiences?
•can we make this into a meme?

Did The Boys writers completely forget the show has an audience outside the US that genuinely does not care about the nonstop commentary on American politics?
nyn - the boys s5 spoilers!@theboyssocials
show s1 homelander this and he‘d kill himself right in front of you

@GeeksGamersCom Star Wars used to be about space ninjas & cowboys fighting with laser swords and blasters, with some cool alien designs mixed in to sell toys to boys.
Wild to watch what it’s crumbled to with marketing…

Pedro Pascal Promotes The Mandalorian and Grogu by Kissing Stephen Colbert On The Mouth
"For many online, the moment immediately became meme material. But it also raised another question entirely: how exactly is this helping promote The Mandalorian and Grogu to mainstream Star Wars audiences?"

can you imagine how big a mean girls 2 would be…

‘THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2’ has passed $430M worldwide. Eyeing to earn $700M+ in its box office run.

@Gothams_Kitchen Silly mistake not including Hulk. Almost every single normie/individual can recognize the Hulk. Big green monster is easily identifiable & is featured in a very close amount of marketing as Spider-Man, even if he doesn’t have as many movies. He dominated TV for decades.

@CultureCrave And him confronting his decisions and mistakes. Make it multiverse to have The Maker as an overarching string pulling antagonist. Also a way to bring back an alternate Johnny.
English

@CultureCrave 2nd would focus on Sue and her powers evolving, also maybe even motherhood with intro of Franklin.
3rd would be Johnny centric, maybe an adaptation of Three. It would follow an arc of his maturity strengthening and maybe a self sacrifice.
The fourth would focus on Reed…

'Fantastic Four' (2015) writer Jeremy Slater thought the film was going to be 'the next [Dark Knight] trilogy'
"I was like ... 'We’re the next Christopher Nolan'"
"When you’re a writer and you’re playing in other people’s sandboxes, it’s really out of your control. You don’t really have any bearing on the quality of the finished product. You just hope that your collaborators all want to make the same movie you wanted to make"

@MattWalshBlog I think this is more so mandated by the studio. He caught criticism over Oppenheimer being a predominantly white cast even though it was aiming to be historically accurate.
Universal probably wants to snag some Oscars and they know they have to check off boxes to do so
English

Not one person on the planet actually thinks that Lupita Nyong’o is “the most beautiful woman in the world.” But Christopher Nolan knows that he would be called racist if he gave “the most beautiful woman” role to a white woman. Nolan is technically talented but a coward. Too afraid to do anything that even slightly challenges the spirit of the age.

@theewinterwitch At this point it appears to be an epilogue to DBA S2

Why was this not just an episode of daredevil born again?…. Throw in a daredevil cameo and nobody would’ve gaf

@emkenobi Yup Obi Wan SUFFERED.
Lost his mentor. Lost Anakin to darkness. Forced to fight (& dismember) him. Lost Padme. Lost the Jedi Order. Went into exile. Hermit. Watched galactic genocide unfold. Had hope with Luke but didn’t get to see his journey through physically.

This man suffered so much more than Anakin and still never chose the dark side.

@GuntherEagleman “My son’s friend who has no future to look forward to because of illegal immigration/compounding national debt/foreign influence/shit healthcare & culture is breaking his back for a bare minimum paycheck while I boomer-tweet for monetary engagement with a fake (and stupid) name.”
English

Last Friday my son’s buddy, a 19-year-old kid walked off a drilling rig with his first real paycheck in his life.
Sweat on his shirt, dirt on his boots, and a look on his face like he just became a man.
That’s not a “policy win.” That’s what America First actually feels like when you stop punishing energy producers and start rewarding hard work again.
We spent years watching kids get hooked on fentanyl or buried in student debt for useless degrees.
Now we’re giving them calluses, purpose, and a future they can build with their own two hands.
This is the country I want my kids and grandkids to grow up in.

“You have failed this series.”
English

@GenericGamer283 @TheHiddenOneAC Yep the purity of ME1 is unmatched and the lore buildout is also unmatched. Instantly elevated to personal favorite for sci fi franchise. Unfortunately, I don’t foresee a movie/series adaptation doing any of it justice.
English

@TheHiddenOneAC ME1 is probably the most pure of the three (similar to AC1 in that respect), but ME2 is my personal favorite of the trilogy. Seriously, it's peak fiction and my book, with some of the best companions in any RPG period.
English

@TheHiddenOneAC Enjoy and immerse yourself. Don’t try to go for the rush of getting to the finish line. Intake all the side content and missions it offers you. You’ll end up falling in love with the ME world by the end of it (which won’t be for many, many hours if you do it with no rush).
