Our Greenwich team joined @CAFCofficial for their annual Greener Game. Veolia's Education team visited three local schools, teaching students about Reduce, Reuse & Recycle. Students then went head to head in a litter picking challenge ahead of the match! 🏆⚽♻️

Over the past week 276 schools and community groups received 495 fruit trees and 1720 strawberry plants as part of our Veolia Orchard scheme. These plants were delivered across the country to educate local communities and children about biodiversity and give them the opportunity to grow their own local fresh fruit. Planting season is in full swing! 216 schools in 30 locations across England are now growing their own fruit thanks to the Veolia Orchard scheme, including Grove Academy in Watford! @VeoliaUK why oh why do you 'condense' bins. All you do is leave litter all over our streets which we have to clean up. We're told not to overfill our bins, only for you to do the same. What sort of a service is this that were paying for?

Our Telford and Wrekin team celebrated World Book Day by giving each pupil at Lantern Primary and Lightmoor Village Primary a pre-loved book. The books had been dropped off at the Household Recycling Centres we run by local residents, showcasing the power of reuse 📕
