I think this is the exact result a person uneducated on tech to denounce an idea of how the future could look. But that in no way say they wont use or understand it. they'll be using ai in their own way for the own needs whether they know it or not. And thats the point of transformative tech

Scariest video I've watched this week America's next generation actively booing the most transformative technology our species has ever seen In China grandmas line up to get OpenClaw installed In America, supposedly our most educated people BOO even the mention of AI The west simply does not stand a chance if this continues We have a massive AI marketing problem in this country and nobody is doing anything to fix it Tomorrow Meta will announce 8,000 layoffs. They will blame it completely on AI They won't blame it on their irresponsible hiring in 2021 or extended elevated rates or horrible market conditions or bad inflation No, in order to not tank their stock, they'll blame it on AI College students will read that and learn to HATE the technology They'll protest outside datacenters holding ridiculous signs that say "SAVE OUR WATER NO MORE DATACENTERS" Politicians will see this and run on blocking data centers just to get a few votes All of it will be a cycle that leads to America losing to China This should be a warning sign to all frontier labs and CEOs: messaging matters. And if your messaging doesn't change the West is cooked
This Week in AI@ThisWeeknAI

3 commencement speakers were booed at the mention of Artificial Intelligence (Video) 1. Eric Schmidt, Google CEO 2. Scott Borchetta, Big Machine Records CEO 3. Gloria Caulfield, Tavistock Development VP

@elonmusk To live with a personal direction. Today the alarm goes off and whether the pay is good or not we are a slave to the grind. Abundance to me is blank slate and one of the 50 billion dreams i have dreamed of over the last 50 years.

What is the best possible future? This question is much harder to answer than it may seem.
Resist the Mainstream@ResisttheMS

Elon Musk: "Let's say you're praying to God and you ask for a given future. What future do you want God to give you? Probably, a future where there's amazing abundance for all."x.com/ElonClipsX/sta… "I think we want a future with love. That seems like a no-brainer. Peace is an interesting one because, you know, sometimes the price for complete peace may be too high because the complete peace may require too much suppression of the people."

@PsudoMike It's infra for a bubble. In no way does a small investment in infrastructure not work for us. Energy and infra is the most prudent of any investment today.

Canada dropped $2B on what it's calling 'sovereign AI' infrastructure. TELUS gets first dibs, 60K GPUs across Vancouver and Kamloops by 2032. Still waiting for someone to explain who controls the model weights, who owns the training data, what happens when the underlying APIs are still American. Location and control aren't the same thing.

AI is being built with knowledge of books and RL. I believe it will be the source of the downfall of AI. Data is public resource and should be served to AI as the source of knowledge. When our AI's are agents able to access knowledge at most levels. Well that's is all we need.

An idea for the maker's A lightweight goggles with mobile camera that fixes vision in a non invasive way. I think one day we will have helmets or facemasks that will perfect vision for all types of impairments. So it can be done as an mvp and be integrated in fashion

In Vars with Mélanie Joly and local MPs, we announced $1.5B to back Canadian businesses and workers hit by U.S. tariffs — $1B through BDC and $500M for the Regional Tariff Response Initiative. At Beau-Roc, it was clear what this supports: good jobs, resilient manufacturing, and Canadian-made quality.

@alleria_eh When you get my age that's a big plus. Because this whole world seems like a soccer complex you have to walk around. Joining the EU would be a great way to spend my years exploring the culture of our past.

🇨🇦What if Canada joined the EU? It would gain full access to the European Single Market, easier trade/investment with 27 countries, student/work mobility across Europe, and a seat at the table shaping EU rules. Canada could keep the Canadian dollar (like Sweden/Denmark), its own military, foreign policy, and legal system. Joining the EU doesn’t erase independence. Every member is a fully sovereign country with its own government, flag, and UN seat. It’s a voluntary partnership, not absorption. Canada would still run Canada.🇨🇦

You are an accoutant and still don't know the value of a man running 5 companies at the same time? He was a moron because he put all his wealth on honorable causes. And jealousy came to say of shit what about me? He is saving people from physical disability more than any other has been able too in history. Now repeat that statement 4 more times.

@alankingny @steipete Don't bother, no credit, lost time to someone who cares so little about people, he left a note saying as much in the README.md for you to see if you search.

@steipete Yea totally get it: im honestly trying to learn open claw to contribute to it and after few months of building on Claude VPs the portal was just confusing to open up to. Felt years apart bc it didn’t have my settings from Claude. Wish there was an easy way to sync them.

Am I wrong to say that Claude actually seems more straight forward with their new coworker/ skills features than openclaw? What am I missing @steipete - I feel late to the game, downloaded openclaw on my new Mac mini and honestly claw control setup has me so lost

This is the dumbest reply I've ever seen. While I can't stand scama, it's true. Tokenwise it's absolutely correct. Your response to the chart is obvious. Also I can't see @DavidSacks counting Elon out. He got things to do ATM. The question is will it be elon or apple that cleans up after the research is done.

It’s time to demystify Mythos. Mythos is not magic. It’s not a doomsday device. It’s the first of many models that can automate cyber tasks (just like coding). OpenAI’s GPT-5.5-cyber can now do the same. And all the frontier models (including those from China) will be there within approximately 6 months. It’s important to recognize that these models do not create vulnerabilities; they discover them. The bugs are already in the code. Using AI to discover and patch them will actually harden these systems. The leap from pre-AI cyber to post-AI cyber means that there will be a big upgrade cycle. After that, however, the market is likely to reach a new equilibrium between AI-powered cyber-offense and AI-powered cyber-defense. Obviously it’s important that cyber defenders get access before cyber attackers. That process is already underway but needs to happen quickly (see point above about Chinese models). Unlike Mythos, GPT-5.5-cyber appears not to be token constrained so it may be the first cyber model that defenders actually get to use.

OpenAI’s GPT-5.5 is the second model to complete one of our multi-step cyber-attack simulations end-to-end 🧵

If you think @optimus is falling behind. Think of the competition working on an analogous product. @tesla and @elonmusk already said the product is the factory. My question to the haters is how much bigger will @Tesla_Optimus L, XL, Heavy, Super Heavy will look like.

It's clear to me seeing the tech heads not liking Elon. @elonmusk doesn't advertise so why would they close the door on @openai ads. It's either you see the vision or you don't. Simple as that, just the normal social media slop.
