I love how pointing out that ideas and market percentage validation. Matter more than net worth. Triggered all the “trust me I’m rich” grifters selling expensive paywalls or courses. It’s good retail is starting to wake up if the older models feel threatened.

Well anyway at age 51 I have started reading Chekhov finally. What should I get into after "The Duel"?

@spook27 I'm having a lot of fun with it, but the game world is pretty big, and the little trigger states would take a very long time to figure out solo. Admire and respect the dedication to do so, but spending ~5 minutes reading some things online will unlock a world of enjoyment.

Then summoning would be fun if I could find whatever lets me summon spirits. I feel like I'm missing a ton of stuff and I'm loath to look things up online.

So I haven't played a lot of Elden Ring yet (maybe 10 hours?) and I'm kinda lukewarm on it. Take Breath of the Wild and remove the stupid shit (tiny dungeons, weapons made of garbage) you've got something pretty good...

@spook27 Best scene in that movie is ‘The Plague’ hanging off his limo while on his skateboard, coasting out of the fog to snatch the floppy from CrashOverride’s hand.

You know what was weird? That scene in Hackers where the main character rapidly produces a floppy from his long sleeved jacket while looking in a mirror like he's Travis Bickle. It's such a bizarre tone to set.

One of my silly pet peeves in film is when characters need to draw blood for some reason so they cut the palm of THEIR OWN HAND. You need your hands to do just about everything! Super high risk of wound infection! Cut your forearm, maybe, or your big toe!
