in order for it to be a refusal aerith should have tried to kiss cloud, which doesn’t happen at any point in the game. unlike with tifa, who actually tries to kiss cloud in gongaga and after asking him if she was getting ahead of herself, cloud ✨️refuses✨️ to kiss back. woops

I don't think it gets talked about enough how Cloud freezes in the Tifa resolution from Remake.
It's like he's having a PTSD episode. All the trauma he's suffered growing up, largely because of Tifa, gets thrown in his face and he can't process it.

Why does it matter that’s it’s set in an alternative timeline, BTAS isn’t canon either. You will literally make the opposite argument for Absolute Batman being proof that he’s an ardent anti-fascist. @RealLifeRyan_ Knight is better than most people give it credit for, like you said they could have cut a lot of the Bat Tank stuff, but the combat and stealth is the best in the series and the sidequests are great and don’t involve the Tank much so ideally you mix them into the story.

I’m torn because City has the best overall story and is basically the definitive Arkham game. But I found Knight personally the most fun to play (Batmobile access goes a long way and I’m bias for including Jason Todd)

I played the first 90 minutes of the original Final Fantasy VII. Wow, I had no idea how short the Midgar arc was in the OG. I've already met Aerith, which is like Chapter 8 in Remake and that's almost the halfway point of that game.
