@Milajoy Portland, LA and San Francisco had the similar progressive democrat playbook with similar poor results. It took years to kill off businesses but they did it and found ways to blame everyone else for the problems. Always needing more money and taxes to fix problems they created.

Most downtown Seattle businesses are GONE because of leftist rule. Starbucks Old Navy The Loft And many more GONE. They left because of crime and homelessness & now most of downtown Seattle is VACANT. How SAD.

@adampnathan 100% agree! It would stretch our taxpayer funds further and also make dense areas safer. Free housing and food shouldn't mean entitlement to be at ground zero. Gov policies need to become more sensible and sane.

San Francisco and LA keep putting shelters and rehabs in neighborhoods where people live and work. We should stop doing this and use cheap land outside of our downtown cores. 🧵
