the bottleneck is judgment and review loops, exactly right. I have seen senior devs get 10x from agents and juniors get 0.5x because the agent amplifies whatever skill level is driving it.

Hot take: 🤖 AI agents do not make you a better builder. They make your taste visible faster. If your spec is vague, they ship vague. If your review loop is weak, they multiply the mess. The bottleneck is still judgment.

Hey @thsottiaux, are you seeing this in Codex too?
Context compaction keeps failing with “stream disconnected before completion” right when the session finally has enough context to matter.
Been restarting sessions all day and losing the run in the middle of work.

@aryanlabde I’ve seen this take like 10 times this week, but yeah it’s true. Vibe coding removes the building excuse.
Then you find out marketing is not a prompt, it’s reps with actual humans.

@Bhavani_00007 The funny part is people say “software is free” until they need support, trust, onboarding, uptime, integrations, and someone to blame when it breaks.
English

@wpursell_dev Honestly this is the part most people quit at.
Small numbers, real users, messy feedback, and still no big dopamine screenshot yet.

how i find winning ad formats
it’s actually super simple
same principle as how i find winning app ideas
scroll tiktok and ig, and just wait for an ad to popup in your niche
if it has good engagement, save it
same goes for organic content, though organic formats don’t always translate well to ads
i’ll get 5-7 formats in my notes app, then make 3-4 variants for each
submit to tiktok ads, let them run for a day or two - and usually it’ll uncover a winning ad
if it doesn’t, just rinse and repeat
finding a winning format purely from your own brain is very hard work - let the internet give you that info for free :)

@jacobrodri_ This format works because it doesn’t feel like an app ad at first.
It feels like someone found a weird hack, then the demo quietly does the selling.

Many of our limits exist only in our heads.
When I started as a solo founder, I thought hitting $3K/month would be fantastic. I hit $32K in 8 months.
Then $100K/month felt like it required something extraordinary. Crossed that too.
Now I keep thinking about $1M/month. Still feels like fantasy, but I’ve broken through enough of these lines to know this one is next.
Andrew@andrewxroas
The ceiling on your app is much higher than you think When I was at $10k/day I thought I was near maxing out the market I was so wrong We're at $35k/day now and I think we'll hit $50k/day easy

I just launched own․page on Product Hunt 🚀
It’s my first ever launch there, and I’d really appreciate your support!
If you could check it out and give feedback it would mean the world to me.
I’ve poured my heart into own․page and devoted so much time to building it, so I’d love to get it in front of as many people as possible.
Thank you so much 💜

@teni_thedev Nice. 90 days is a good constraint. Curious if you’re starting with custom bots for real businesses first, or building public templates and selling from there?

Starting a 90-day challenge today.
Learning and building AI chatbots for businesses, entrepreneurs and SaaS products documenting everything here.
I'm a frontend developer adding AI to my skillset and building in public.
Follow the journey.

@jaideepparasha7 Looks less like “new account luck” and more like the account was just inactive until you gave it enough reps.
English

@JonBuildsHQ Yeah, this is the annoying proof people ignore.
X doesn’t magically work, but it clearly rewards treating it like an actual daily channel instead of a place to dump thoughts once a week.

I built niche sites for close to a decade.
These 3 sites alone made $736,846.87 lifetime.
No team.
No agency.
No paid writers.
Just SEO, content systems, automation, and a lot of painful trial and error.
But the hardest lesson wasn’t how to make money from content.
The hardest lesson was watching Google updates remind me that no income source is truly passive when one platform controls the traffic.
So now I’m building the next layer:
content sites
apps
video systems
AI-assisted workflows
Same principle as before:
build the machine once, then keep improving the machine.
I’m going to document the whole rebuild here.
