There goes your inventory. All you had to do was pay us enough to live. The warehouses, which span roughly 11 city blocks which prompted a massive response a 6-alarm fire alert from 175 firefighters and 20 engines working to put out the blaze. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

#UPDATE Runway Warning System Failed in Deadly LaGuardia Plane-Fire Truck Collision NEW YORK — A runway warning system at LaGuardia Airport failed to alert controllers moments before an Air Canada jet collided with a fire truck while landing late Sunday night, killing both pilots. The Air Canada #JZ8646 CRJ900, carrying more than 70 people, slammed into the fire truck. Several passengers were injured, but most escaped the mangled aircraft. A flight attendant who was still strapped in her seat was thrown onto the tarmac and survived. National Transportation Safety Board Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy said Tuesday that the system did not activate because the fire truck lacked a transponder. She added that while the NTSB has not previously recommended transponders for ground vehicles, they should be required. Homendy cautioned against blaming air traffic controllers, noting they were managing a late-night emergency involving another aircraft and that two controllers on duty is standard for the overnight shift. Investigators have not yet interviewed the firefighters or reviewed flight data recorder information. The incident is under investigation.
