Call it how it is: The Caleb Durbin trade was a massive failure in talent evaluation. With every game, it becomes less clear how they thought this would work. It’s not doing him or the team any favors to keep trotting him out there. He needs a complete reset

With Mayer beginning to take reps at shortstop I'm really surprised nobody has asked Tracy about playing Mickey Gasper at second base. You need to be creative to find ways to get his bat in the lineup, and he has a lot of experience there at the major and minor league levels
