📸 Happy to finally announce the closure of our $2m seed round to accelerate the launch of our AI-powered assistive camera of the future. Backed by @betaworks, F4 Fund and @NextWaveNYC via @flybridge, @7pcventures and @DigiCatapult we’re redefining the future of cameras and content creation. ✅ We’re integrating a large language model (LLM) directly into an interchangeable lens mirrorless camera for the first time ever. ✅ We’re entering a new phase in our journey under the name Camera Intelligence (@camera_int) - with a brand that better reflects our direction of travel. Why does this all matter? Producing engaging, high-quality content is necessary for creators and small businesses. But content tools are fragmented with steep learning curves. We want to help creators and businesses go from idea → execution faster than ever: no fuss - just smart, assistive content production in their hands. We've been working hard behind the scenes to deliver a radical new interface that allows users to control camera functions through voice commands. Being on the AI native camp at @betaworks in NYC was hugely influential for our ability to develop and deploy our LLM-driven technology - thanks to @Borthwick, @jordanrcrook, @nicole_ripka and the team. Attempted to have a fluid conversation and debate with the new Siri AI beta last night on my walk… but still felt super rough, delicate and awkward. Having a genuinely good AI debating/sparing partner would be fun. But often times Siri didn’t pick up on dictation, it didn’t complete its thoughts, things would cut out, and I felt myself forcing the conversation. Maybe I need a Stream ring by @sandbar. @minafahmi 👀

How long can you sit in silence observing your thoughts uninterrupted? Our minds are constantly juggling hundreds of thoughts a day, collecting overlapping ideas throughout the week. Most of our routine is on autopilot. Everything gets cluttered. We don’t spend enough time observing these ideas. I lit just sit in a dark room meditating for 60 mins with my eyes closed 🧘🏽‍♂️ PS - I’m doing longer session with Oak because @Headspace doesn’t let me do mediation sessions longer than 20 mins

The laborious activity of hunting through art books, scrolling through actual physical books, sketching ideas on a pieces of paper, drawing connections between the conflicting thoughts in your mind - that creative discovery - is where the value is, it’s where the beauty is.
