Over time, all LLMs will pretty much collapse into simply recycling each other's outputs. The entire internet will be a bunch of AI-generated content. All new AI models will train on this content and regurgitate it back to us in an endless cycle. The end result - A giant pile of AI slop 😱

As a customer (4+ years of dash pass), I’ve rarely experienced a discernible difference in delivery speed when paying the $2.99 Express Fee. Since you posed the question, I hope your teams will audit metrics to make sure this fee is working for the customer as well as you seem to believe it does.

Holy fucking shit is right! This is not DoorDash, and I would fire anyone who promoted or tolerated the kind of culture described in this Reddit post. There’s so much wrong with this post. - Dashers are not “human assets.” - Having a metric like a "Desperation Score” is an abomination. - We’ve never had a “Driver Benefit Fee”. - Why would you charge for faster delivery but not make it faster?? We’re not perfect by *any* stretch of the imagination, but we work every day to make our platform better for everyone who comes to it. What’s described here is appalling, and if true, whoever is operating in this manner should be ashamed.

@shreyas Folks that are usually “right a lot” are the same folks who listen a lot, who are willing to change their beliefs when presented with new information, and lead with empathy.

From having known 100s of product folks over the years, I can say 5-10% possess a magical talent of “being right a lot” about products. Trouble is another 20% of folks think they are also in that group and most of the rest of us can’t tell the difference between these two groups.

@mukund @plantmath1 @Innovestor_ I do. I’ve followed their products closely for years. Apple has flooded the market with h/w with more capabilities and app developers are building apps for point use-cases that makes Matterport’s sw play less compelling.

$GHVI - a thread on Matterport. Disclaimers: 1. I dont own shares. 2. I am/was a skeptic - If you search $GHIV and my name on twitter you will see me worried about valuation 3. @plantmath1 and @Innovestor_ have done a good job on valuation & background 4. Dont FOMO 🙏🏿💕🐘

The best part of moving to Miami is you can take quick day trips to Hawaii. All the high growth executives love that.

@rishi_tripathy_ Congrats! Enjoy the journey. You may want to read the Situational Leadership framework. It is a time tested framework, something I continue to use everyday and prescribe to every new people manager.

I start my journey as a manager today, with 3 interns joining 😱☺️ — I'm so excited!! Here's a bit about why I'm excited and what led to this point 🧵 Have any advice for a young, first-time manager? 🙏🏽
