As a Muslim I'd just like to say the way that Jesus is depicted and talked about in the West is totally disgusting. From making jokes about him to depicting him in the most demeaning way to far right lunatics highjacking his legacy, I find all of this deeply offensive. But of course this is all tolerated by so-called Christians who are always the last to defend his honour. I'm Muslim so I believe Jesus was a prophet and among the greatest humans who ever lived. If I had any power, I would ban the way he is insulted in the West and would make it a criminal offence. And the fact that the vast majority of Christians wouldn't do the same makes me believe they have little or no respect for him.

Jesus did have to pray but for the account of the people in there watching he prayed to the Father so people see Jesus relationship and authority he shared with God the Father. Basically Jesus did not have to pray but he set the example.

God use human terminology for us to understand the relationship but is not a literal definition like father and son biological. God love Jesus as a father love his son
