when I found the Indie Hacker community, I was lost.
people were buzzing with tips:
- actively reply to other people's posts for 30 minutes a day
- post at least once a day
- woke up at 5am and start journaling
- "I made $100k with this simple trick, you can too.."
and much more
The truth about 𝕏 is people don't care too much about your journey before 𝕏, people care about your journey here and how you can make their time valuable here.
Have fun.
Find your way,
Don't treat 𝕏, like 9-5 or responsibility (that you want to escape tho),
Be hype-man and cheer up people you like.

@Dima_heyqq People spend their energy and resources on a lot of weird stuff, but this is just great 😆

@lewiscarhart Nothing quite like leveraging that morning mental clarity to come up with the best sh*tposting

@daniel_nguyenx By the time you reach the third line of this post you can already hear the beat playing

@bradtechdog You don't seem to promote any of your product(s) on X, right?
X feels like such a great place to be when your product's audience also aligns with the community you are active in, otherwise, it can be pretty deceiving

@MrNick_Buzz Is Baked a better business model or just the fact that you invested in it the most time and effort that allowed it to grow so much compared to Movevirtual or your Cleaning Business?
English

October Stats 🤌
$101,979 Revenue
🧁 Baked: $73,367/m
🌐 Movevirtual: $9,335/m
🧼 Cleaning Business: $3,277/m
👨🎨 Personal Studio: $16,000/m
🎨 Indie design kit: $0
Businesses are stable, want to keep them that way for 2024. Planning to expand movevirtual (delegatoo) and indie design kit in November.

@DmytroKrasun I love seeing these grounded and transparent breakdowns!
May I ask how you got to ScreenshotOne being the best business idea to chase?
It does seem to match the criteria of ideal indie/1-man projects, but it's way easier to judge that in retrospective, after seeing the results

My October 2024 ScreenshotOne.com public report:
💰 $11,682 (+$1,176) MRR
🫂 285 (+16) paying customers
😭 5.7% revenue, 7.5% customer churn
📸 20M+ API requests (+3,051,006)
1. The churn is getting better. I emailed churned customers—I have ideas of what to try next.
2. I launched more free tools for SEO, a funny tiny game, wrote blog posts, and added new features...
2. One month of break helped me a lot. I prioritized sleep, and now ship like a machine. I ship daily.
3. My next challenge is to set a new goal—it should be intrinsic, resonated, and challenging enough for me.
How was your October? Reply with a quote of your report if you have one.
