I’d have more sympathy if there were more public toilets in Westminster for families/older people but there aren’t. Has been a problem for a number of years.

OK Stripe’s new job ad for its Comms hiring is *something else*. No titles or set roles. An open invitation to people without comms experience - not entry level folks, but *founders*. It's the clearest articulation I’ve seen of the new Comms mindset - and the paradoxes at its heart: 1. Comms has never been more valued or valuable to the very top companies and they’re investing more in expanding these teams 2. This is *particularly* true of AI and innovative companies 3. Finding the exact right people is incredibly hard. The best teams are having to look in new places to find the attributes they need 4. In parallel, good people from good agencies/ in-house teams are experiencing the market is dead, and they’re not getting shortlisted for what’s out there. The new Comms is built around entrepreneurialism, getting stuff done, intellectual rigour, curiosity about the actual tech, and minimal ego. It values personal contribution over the shiny logo of a prestigious brand. Loads of comms people have these attributes, but many aren’t currently in jobs that let them fully develop them, and even then, these are hard skills to demo in a typical job application. That’s why I’m so excited by what @stripe's trying and I can’t wait to see who @ollierickman hires.

I see some weird things but this takes the biscuit. A vulnerability in the Companies House website, that let anyone view the private dashboard of any one of the five million registered companies, see directors' personal details. And modify them.

Is there a reason why your @BritishGasHelp representatives keep dropping my call while they are “researching” my issue. Given how long it takes to reach someone and repeat what the problem is, it is such a waste of everyone’s time!
