🇵🇸🇮🇱 Israel killed another Al Jazeera cameraman in Gaza His name was Ahmed Wishah, killed in a strike on a house in the Bureij refugee camp. Then came the part that's becoming routine. Israel said the cameraman was actually a Hamas sniper, killed in what it called a precise strike alongside two other militants. It gave no evidence for any of it. Al Jazeera calls it a baseless smear, an attempt to excuse the killing of its journalists. Other reporters in Gaza are reeling. Freelancer Bilal Abu Samak said the killing left him in shock. Samak: "For the first time, I found myself unable to film" And this isn't one family's first loss. Ahmed's brother Mohammed, also an Al Jazeera journalist, was killed in Israeli shelling in April. Reporters Without Borders counts more than 220 journalists killed by Israeli forces since the war began, at least 70 while doing their jobs. Israel says it doesn't target them on purpose.
