@Garp_roy @WayneMathison Thank you for outing yourself as a bot. And a not particularly good one at that. The Liberal Party should stop buying cheap, crappy bots off of Temu

Fact Check - Loaded Language/False Equivalence - The post uses inflammatory rhetoric and sweeping generalizations to equate diverse political ideologies as a single "disease," while framing complex economic challenges as solely the result of government interference. The post employs several rhetorical techniques to manipulate reader perception. It uses "loaded language" (e.g., "burn through wealth," "block production," "punish risk," "scam") to frame government activity as inherently destructive. It creates a false equivalence by grouping distinct political figures—Avi Lewis (federal NDP leader), Wab Kinew (Manitoba Premier), and Mark Carney (Prime Minister)—under the umbrella of a "same disease," ignoring their different roles, jurisdictions, and policy platforms. Furthermore, it relies on a "false dilemma" fallacy by suggesting that the only alternative to the current government's approach is the specific "Build. Approve. Produce. Export. Compete. Reward work. Cut waste" platform associated with Pierre Poilievre, while oversimplifying complex economic issues like housing, energy, and inflation by attributing them exclusively to government policy rather than global economic factors.

Canada’s problem is not that some people build wealth. Canada’s problem is that too many politicians burn through wealth, block production, punish risk, and then lecture the rest of us about fairness. Avi Lewis wants more socialism. Wab Kinew wants more government dependency dressed up as compassion. Mark Carney wants managed capitalism with Ottawa holding the clipboard. Same disease. Different packaging. The left keeps pretending capitalism is the problem. But look around. The real damage comes from governments that make it harder to build homes, harder to approve projects, harder to develop energy, harder to invest, and harder for working people to get ahead. Elon Musk is not perfect. Nobody is. But he builds things. Rockets. Cars. Internet systems. Medical technology. Real things. Our political class mostly announces things. Big difference. If a business fails customers, it loses money. If government fails citizens, it asks for a bigger budget. That is the scam. Canada does not need more speeches about fairness from people who have never created anything. Canada needs builders, workers, entrepreneurs, farmers, tradespeople, engineers, miners, investors, and risk-takers. Wealth is not the enemy. Stagnation is. Like Pierre says. Build. Approve. Produce. Export. Compete. Reward work. Cut waste. That is how a country gets rich. Not by hating the people who make the pie bigger.

@CityNewsTO The TTC can barely function in normal circumstances. I can’t wait for the subway to be shut down just before a major game is scheduled to start because some meth head wandered on to the tracks looking for a place to relieve himself.

Toronto is set to play host to one of the largest sporting events in the world in just over a month, but questions remain about the city's transit system's ability to withstand a massive influx of visitors. toronto.citynews.ca/2026/05/07/ttc…

PM Carney on the international order being rebuilt out of Europe: "A belief in democracy, the rule of law, that we're all equal before that law ... Canada, the EU, the UK, Australia, other countries share very firm convictions with those principles and we will work together to rebuild."

The only person requiring therapy is you. Read her post and then reread the absolutely unhinged spew you responded with. Only a truly broken and cowardly person, hiding behind the anonymity of social media would think posting crap like this demonstrates their intellectual and moral superiority.

@MichelleRempel Michelle remplestiltskin out here making false equivalencies. Stop it. Its over. Your push to get authoritarianism with a hint of fascism isnt gonna happen. Why dont you, maybe, go take up a hobby, try some therapy for those issues you clearly have, read a book to learn something

Sure… because the Liberals have such a great track record with their projections… Only stupid, gullible elbows up voters and Globe and Mail journalists believe this stuff. But thanks for saving me the effort of going to the Liberal Party website. It’s so much easier to get their press releases from the legacy media.

My latest: Who governs Canada? Whoever has the support of a majority of the House — no matter how it's put together theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl… I have my issues with the current wave of opportunistic floor-crossers, but the Tories’ opposition (leaving aside their own history of welcoming floor-crossers) is more fundamental, and of a piece with their hostility to parliamentary coalitions — the kind that can topple Conservative governments or prop up “defeated” Liberal governments.

@AbGamble1 This is the most delusional, Elbows Up! thing you’ll see today. I’ve always loved Joni and her music, but the Joni of old would never have shilled for a cynical, manipulative empty suit like Carney.
