I agree that they are teenagers and shouldn't be seen as evil people immediately or forever. However, they should still be called out for it, and you should agree with this if you are not transphobic, since otherwise they won't even have a chance to change their beliefs. They also shouldn't be outcasts, but rather educated about how they are wrong and how they can massively hurt people with the things they say. I also think cancelling is often counterproductive, since it can create these outcasts. This way, they can stay isolated, and often the only people still wanting to associate with them and be friends with them are people who have the same wrong, hurtful, and flawed thinking as they do, thus keeping them in echo chambers where they will build more and more hatred against queer and trans people. Now, regarding what you said, I don't know you at all, but you were saying blatantly wrong information. I don't know whether you are just misinformed or were saying these things despite knowing they aren't true. But saying that someone can't "become" trans at 16 shows that you fundamentally don't understand what a trans person is. It is not a choice to be trans. Also, since you apparently care about the well being of teenagers, saying that they are essentially pretending to be trans due to "problems at home" and "seeking comfort online" is transphobia, you are questioning or even dismissing the identities of trans people. I don't know how this will help a teenager in any form. Also, saying that 95% of trans people are porn addicts is just not true. Again, I don't know if you just made that up or saw it on TikTok or some shit, but spreading misinformation like that is extremely toxic and just further increases the stigma around transgender people.
