@ChasingWConnor It definitely is a two-way street - like the one I have seen clueless storm watchers standing on, but on the other side, I have seen well-known and respected chasers drive recklessly with wonton disregard. Impeding traffic and negligent vehicular homicide laws apply to all.

Slightly long rant. You are responsible for your own safety while chasing. If you choose to stand on the edge of a dirt road that is full of chaser traffic you can’t get mad when someone drives by quickly passing someone because the conga line is driving 15 under. You are in a stupid spot move away from the road. Nothing pisses me off more than a tornado tour standing in the middle of the road while I’m pursuing for a close range intercept. The amount of people who I have seen parked in the dead middle of dirt roads as of come up on them at 45mph the last week is insane. I have also almost gotten in wrecks multiple times because people think I am just going to let them cut me off merging from the shoulder. No I am not. You yield to me not vice versa I don’t care how many lightbars and stickers you have. There are no special rules for you. Wait until it’s clear.

Yes I have decided to stop chasing in the Dominator 3. I will be back chasing solo! I still absolutely love the guys on the team! We should all be celebrating their amazing intercept yesterday! The best of all time!

Insane #tornado intercept spins the Dominator after @WillClay25 shoots a sensor by air cannon into the violent vortex. This will give us ground up data inside the tornado @localmanweather

@86xdad I agree it looked like it wanted to wedge. The environment would have been able to support it but fortunately it didn't.

@wallaceds77 At the start it looks like it could’ve turned into a wedge like the Kansas storm. Some reason it just quit immediately

May 18, 2025: Multiple and multi-vortex tornadoes near Gordon, TX.

@RedfrmTexas There was a lot happening, but it looked like it tried to wedge for sure. The environment was very potent and favorable.
