Right wing media’s sole job is to convince poor white rural American’s that the big cities have it worse than them. Do their lives ever improve? Nope.

@HGTudorKTN Just finished “Smeared…” Very good. Although you highly highly highly underestimate Neighbors with a Female Vuln Narc… my entire neighborhood has turned against me with her accusations of being abusive and with my children. I’d put that towards the top of the painful meter

Been a loyal @SouthwestAir flyer for 20 years, RR Visa holder, missed A List for the first time this year. This new airline is a horrid experience. Like WTF are yall thinking. Dumbest business decisions in history of modern commerce.

Unless you’ve tried calling—-wtf. They think they have some sort of moral superiority because they tried calling unsuccessfully. I mean what’s calling going to do? Especially the people calling 911 for non emergency power outages. Go to a shelter. Find a friend that has power. Rent a motel. Buy a generator. Be somewhat useful. Nope…. I’m just going to keep calling. That should work. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Help me with the math here y'all, cause it ain't mathing for me... NES says outages affecting 1,000+ customers are the priority. 4 days later, there are still 8+ separate outages over that mark — many with multiple ‘updates’ and no fixes. If prioritization is working, what exactly is improving?

#NESOutageAlert January 27 9pm Current customers without power: 110,000 Customers with power restored: 120,000 Total broken utility poles: 280 We successfully added to the 700 lineworkers we started with today, and will continue restoration efforts throughout the night. There are currently many areas with outages of 1,000 customers or more, including: • Brick Church/North Nashville • Bellevue/West Nashville • Hendersonville • Elysian Fields • Madison • Rosebank/East Nashville • Goodlettsville • Forest Hills • Brentwood

@NESpower how you are defining “largest groups”? If you look at the map you have areas where you’ve broken up neighborhoods into 600 customer clumps but the entire neighborhood represents over 2500. Then you look at a huge geographical region that says 1400. Makes no sense.

Our promise: No one will be forgotten. As we move through another night of restoration, we know it is incredibly difficult to be the home still waiting in the dark. While our crews must prioritize repairs that restore power to the largest groups of customers first, please know that your service is just as important to us. Every outage—no matter how small—is on our map and in our plans. We are working 14–16-hour shifts and will continue rotating crews 24/7 until every single customer is back on. We won’t stop until the job is done.

Our lineworkers are working around the clock to restore service to those still affected by outages. Please stay alert and stay safe while our crews work as quickly and safely as possible to navigate these final repairs. We truly appreciate your patience during this time.

#NESOutageAlert January 27 7:15 am NES teams worked overnight to make repairs and restore power to 104,000 customers. NES and contracted lineworkers will continue operations in rotations, and they will remain on extended 14–16‑hour shifts to ensure we can continue responding quickly. Right now: • there are about 130,000 customers currently without power • at least 189 broken poles have been reported across our service area We will deploy more than 740 lineworkers across the service area this morning and will add more throughout the day. Vegetation management teams and supplemental contract teams have been deployed to complement our restoration efforts and ensure lineworkers can continue reaching their sites efficiently. NES restores power by tackling areas affecting the largest number of customers first. We understand being without power is difficult, especially when conditions outside are extreme. Regardless of where a customer lives, all of our customer base is important, and our lineworkers are working hard to restore power to every last customer. No one will be forgotten or left behind; however, utility prioritization practices are to restore the greatest number of customers first. We ask that customers ensure their homes are ready to receive power. If weatherheads, power masts, or meter bases are damaged, our lineworkers cannot safely reconnect power. NES maintains and repairs the lines leading to a customer’s home, but homeowners are responsible for the equipment on the house. If home equipment repairs need to be made, we strongly suggest contacting a licensed electrician for those repairs. Along with city officials, NES also continues to ask for the community’s help. If your power is out, do not call 911. We need to keep those lines open for emergencies. But if you see a downed power line, that is an emergency, so that is when it is appropriate to call 911. We ask that everyone stay away from downed power lines, and to always assume they are live and dangerous. How to Stay Updated • If you are without power, please report it by texting OUT to 637797 (NESPWR) from the phone number linked to your account, or by calling (615) 234‑0000. • NES will share restoration information on X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook throughout the event.

@NESpower Businesses, in any industry, have DR plans. Disaster Recovery. Where you plan for worse case scenarios. Clearly NES is doing their DR planning in a live event which is unethical at a minimum.

Much appreciation for the heroic work being done by @NESpower. They’ve gotten power back to nearly 60,000 of those who lost it, have surged extra linemen into the city, and have their teams working double-shifts to deal with over 100 broken poles and 175,000 still without power.
