There isn't even one song out of the 40 something that i feel like playing 20 times in a row. I don't think that's ever happened for one of his albums for me let alone 3. The passion for the craft is dead

@Japhet_Fuhgwab @balldontTy Nah players rarely talk about refs for a reason. Yeah it’s a small portion of your salary but it’s a silly way to dish out bread. especially in front of the 2 way guys who don’t make money like that? it’s just making a fool of yourself. They stop.

@balldontTy 10k? Bro these dudes are making 40-50M a year. That's like fining you $8 for cutting someone off in traffic. Make it a game check or scale it to their salary and watch the flopping evaporate by Game 3

I’m TELLING YOU. Institute a post-game review process. Fine players $10K a flop. that’s it. nothing else. review the tape, if it’s an egregious flop like THIS, give us $10K buddy. flopping is GONE in a month. it’s that simple.

@brendandickers @FlyByKnite This is a bit of a sidebar but it’s a huge problem imo. I’m not sure if there actually was an increase in rescinded technicals but it sure feels like it. Dillon Brooks had like 5 technicals rescinded. Officiating in the NBA has gotten legit atrocious.

Just to clarify, the NBA put out a statement saying “following an investigation including multiple interviews and video review, the league found no basis to any claim of bias or misconduct by game officials” but then rescinded all THREE technicals that crew called.

@Dastrunk @CoachDiesel But OKC doesn’t get much calls aside from Shai and they drive all the time. Who on OKC is receiving a overly friendly whistle to you? Name one player and convince me OKC is shooting more than league average number of times in a game from the line.

@DawgsofThunder @Mishbia15 If I foul 100 times and 25 get called, and my opponent fouls 20 times and 25 get called. The number of FTA will be the same, but the officiating was poor. Find a better argument.

I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.
CantGuardBook@CGBBURNER

Devin Booker WENT OFF in his postgame interview about the officiating in tonight’s game vs OKC: "It's definitely something that has to be looked into. I heard Caruso tell them to call the tech and he ended up doing it. In my 11 years, I haven't called a ref out by name, but James [Williams] was terrible tonight, through and through. It's bad for the sport, bad for the integrity of the sport. People are going to start viewing this as the WWE if they're not held responsible." "I know I haven't won a championship in this league but I have been in it for 11 years now, so to get to this point to be treated like that, for me to even be saying something out loud... It's bad. "It's my first time in 11 years but it's needed. Whatever, I get fined for it, everybody can pull the clips and see where the frustration comes from."

@SlendyNerd @thechosenberg Idk tbh if that was my concern I’d be more frustrated by the money getting spent on a vacation than my sister’s well-being. Would definitely at least try to convince parent to spend the vacation portion of the money on my sister’s loans.

This is a freaking disgrace and needs to be called out! After reading Rule 5.09(a)(1), I do not believe TJ Friedl caught this ball. If a player drops the ball upon falling, it is not a catch. What's worse, he would have known he dropped it, yet chose not to make that clear...

@GoKnights_Go @Man_of_Wicker @SnackMyFridgeUp No other players will accept it, except ones like shohei that will make double the contract value from endorsements. And besides, it’s literally a hedge against the US economy. It’s allowed, but shouldn’t be. Probably will be part of the ensuing conversations when the CBA expires

So the Dodgers just decided you can sign like seven elite starting pitchers, have them all be “injured” until the All-Star break and then just unleash them in the playoffs because they’ve only thrown 100 innings all year.

Charlie Kirk aside, imagine the crowd hyping his pro-gun rhetoric. Then a shot rings out. In that instant of panic when they realize they might die by the very thing they worship, did the irony finally hit them?

What you posted is strictly public mass shootings. K-12 school shootings are seperate from that and typically is someone getting their guns from their friends or families unsecured firearms in their homes like I've provided below. These would be legally purchased and obtained, but the crime not perpetuated by the purchaser themselves. This is the exact point that separates Canada from the U.S. and it's not the open carry laws. In Canada, if your gun is not on your person (if you were actively hunting for example) then they must have a trigger lock and out of reach while in transport, and be locked in a gun safe while stored. These measure need to be implemented for guns not in the owners direct possession in the U.S. Also under the current situation, I truly believe that those negligently storing their firearms for anybody with access to the home to grab, should also be held with some accountability in the way of negligence. And yes, while I'm all for the 2nd amendment, I do believe it is too easy to purchase guns in the U.S. Its a process and a half up here. As the other fella pointed out however, these shootings make up just a miniscule amount of gun deaths in the U.S. The ATF teaced firearms crimes between 2017 and 2021 and found 93% of all gun deaths were commited using illegaly obtained firearms. But 58% of those were originally legally purchased guns that were stolen, highlighting further my previous point about gun securement. With that said, if gun control that you want was enacted, there In closing, implement the gun control you want, and extrapolate the data using the 2023 numbers (latest released) and you would still have 43,457 graves to dig (illegaly obtained firearms deaths). But yes, you would have 3,271 people still alive maybe. Stiffen up the requirements to purchase ie. screening and implement gun securement laws like up here and those 93% of guns get a fuck of a lot harder to obtain for the criminals.
