I think the only mods that should be legal are ones that optimize within the variance range of default gcc outputs. ucf standardizes controllers dashback consistency/shield drop to match the best default controllers. Capacitors return snapback to match default controllers.

You know damn well that all of the top players got on a call last year and we agreed that we had to get rid of zump but because of the timing it fell through. And stop hiding behind box technicality, you know that the top players all wanted to ban zump and not touch box. Box serves as melee's accesibility tool, Zump has ZERO reasoning to exist. @n0ned Box barely nerfed. Without notches, it would still be completely and objectively better than gcc by design. Box players can still remap, also. What specific, in-game advantage are you finding unfair about z jump that box cannot perform? Not even disagreeing, genuinely asking.

Because box got nerfed recently. So its a non-issue for now. And we’ll come back to it if it ever becomes one again, as we should. Ppl can also argue that they started playing on box from the getgo bc ‘they like arcade scheme’ or ‘they just played on box from getgo bc their region or friends played on box too etc’ (this is valid) I can assure you no one starts playing on zump from the getgo just bc they like it more and whoever says otherwise is full of it. They switch to zump after bc they want advantage.
