@FonzyLopez1 @cyadra There's a significant difference between something that is a direct adaptation and is more inspired by that actually adapting. The fact that was a grounded historical , condensed version highlights this. Let alone all the other choices that mirror older Hollywood epic.

This is my biggest grievance with this film. The Odyssey is ancient myth. You don't inject the modern world into a direct adaptation. If you want a modern " more relatable " Odyssey just make a modern story inspired by it. The Coen brothers did and it was a masterpiece.
